Lux is the absolute sweetest 15 year old kitty. She loves to sit on your lap, purr, and get pets. She is very loyal and will be by your side always. Although she is a senior, she is still quite active! She is indoor/outdoor - we don’t even have a litter box because we have a cat door that lets her go outside when she wants. She is very good with kids and all humans - not aggressive in the slightest. She does not do well with other animals and will need to be in a home where she is the only pet. It has been a horribly hard decision to rehome her, but we have a toddler and another baby on the way, and we just cannot give her the time and attention she needs and deserves. We want the last season of her life to be full of love and attention.

Calm, Sweet, Loving Distinguished Gent is a senior guy, and he has massive amounts of experience nestling next to his people on the couch and sleeping in bed with them! He is a Master Cuddler. He has a gravelly meow that is precious, and sometimes he has a grumpy face, but he is pure sweetness, through and through! He loves to curl up and chill and simply be with you. He gives gentle love bites (at some point in his life his teeth were surgically removed) and he happily purrs up a storm. In a previous life, Gent was good with kids, enjoyed other cats, and tolerated dogs. He isn’t interested in playing, though you can sometimes tempt him with a wand toy! And in his past he occasionally wore a little harness and took his human out for a stroll in the backyard, soaking up the sun and sniffing the air. Distinguished Gent has Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), which means his kidneys don’t function as well as they did when he was a young whippersnapper! He must remain on a renal-supportive diet, plus may take meds and receive subcutaneous fluids. This condition is so common in older cats that APA! offers a special adoption package for them. Calm, Affectionate, Biscuit Maker Pigeon probably gets her name from her gorgeous gray coloring - but she’s much more unique than any old bird if she does say so herself! Pigeon is as sweet as she is pretty, and she’s super easygoing. She’s more lowkey than she is playful, and has a quiet, calm demeanor about her. Pigeon isn’t a chatty girl, but she still likes to give you the occasional meow to say hi! She enjoys being close to her fosters, especially since she loves to make biscuits on them. Pigeon hasn’t shown to be much of a snuggler yet, but maybe she’s just waiting for the perfect person to cuddle up with - maybe it’s you! Pigeon doesn’t need tons of playtime, and while the catnip toys don’t interest her, she does like the toys with strings on them she can bat at. She hasn't met any other cats, dogs, or kids in foster, so she’ll need slow introductions to any other pets at her forever home.
