Russian Blue kittens & cats in San Marcos, Texas

I have had Hiko for about 4 months. He snuck into my house when my roommate was leaving for work and i ended up finding him when i got up. My best guess is he is about a year old now as of october. He has adjusted to my roomates dog wonderfully and keepy trying to play with the old dog. He is playful and very cuddly. When i get home he is waiting at the door and will lead the way to my room and jump up to try and sit on my lap. When i go to bed he will hop onto the bed and lay next to me to sleep. He accidentally learned to play fetch. I toss a toy of his and he will chase it down and play a bit before bringing it back and dropping it somewhere close to me. He never puts it in my hand but near my feet is common. He will try to artack hands but i have slowly gotten him to be better about that. He may grab but it is gentle now and i just pull away and give him a different toy. A bit more time should break him of that. He is overall soft and gentle. He is very playful and loves cuddling.

Outgoing, Affectionate, Silly! Grippy Socks is a friendly, sweet, cuddly, and happy lady who is an amazing companion and lover of humans! She adores being around you and wants pets all the time. She will shadow you to let you know how much you are loved, and she will instantly purr when you interact with her - especially when she gets those snuggles she loves! She will even kiss your face to show her adoration - so cute! Grippy is content to play with toys but only if you are around - she's an entertainer at heart! She will play fetch like a dog, and catching your hands under the blanket brings her joy! She's generally quiet unless it's chow time or if you are not giving enough attention to this silly soul. Grippy came to APA! with a previous tail injury, which gave her weak and partially paralyzed back legs. She has been doing physical therapy to strengthen her back legs, and while she cannot always use them, she has adapted and gets around! She will "show off" by kicking her back legs when you hold her - she is a warrior. The tail injury also gave her incontinence, so she need you to "manually express" her bladder (gently press on it) a few times a day to help her go pee. She also eats a wet food diet for optimum urinary health. Learning to express her bladder is pretty straightforward, and APA! will show you how and make sure you are comfortable with it.
