Story
Mira is a sweet and cuddly delight of a being. I adopted her as a kitten during Covid while I was living solo and so she loves living with just one or two people in a quiet space. My partner, her daughter, and their dogs moved in this winter and Mira hasn’t been comfortable with the adjustment. I’d love to keep her to old age, it just doesn’t seem like the best home for her anymore.

Story
Meet Violet Crawley! She and her sister Cora Crawley (yes sisters not in-laws sorry) would love to be adopted together but we can consider adopting them separately to the perfect families. This Russian Blue mix kitten is so sweet and loves snuggles, she’s less confident with people but she will warm up to you with time. She is a big explorer and LOVES toys! Like her Downton Abbey namesake, Violet looks very regal with her fluffy grey fur. She hasn’t met kids yet but as she’s a young kitten we think she’d be find with cat savvy kids. As she is a kitten her personality is still developing but she's ready to grow with a family and even better if she can grow up with her sister so she has a feline playmate for life. Violet is FIV+ but don't be scared by that, FIV+ cats can live long healthy lives and their lifespan can be the same as a cat without FIV. Like all cats they just need their regular vet visits and as with all of our adoptable cats need to be strictly indoors. However, they would always enjoy a catio and maybe even leash and harness training to enjoy your backyard. To read more on FIV please check out some of these links and feel free to ask us questions. https://bit.ly/3JSOq6i https://www.fivcats.com/FIV/fiv_basics.html https://www.humanesociety.org/news/fiv-positive-cats We also have some adopters with FIV+ cats who would be happy to give you more information and their experience about the joy of giving a home to an FIV+ cat. Our cats are brought to you in style by a beautiful private bus, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Pick-up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private Facebook Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you! The adoption fee is $475 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Meet Mowgli! This sweet lady is estimated to be 11 years old. She's a Russian Blue and is very friendly with humans, and likes getting head scritches and belly rubs (in small doses, she is still a cat). She is looking for a new home through no fault of her own - we got a dog recently, and while we were optimistic about the two of them coexisting, it's clear that she is less than thrilled.   Unfortunately we can no longer give Mowgli the attention or space she deserves, so we're hoping to find her a new lap to warm. She would definitely be happiest as a solo pet. She doesn't like dogs, and she doesn't get along great with other cats. She lived with other cats when she was younger but she was never too thrilled about it. She has also been bullied by neighborhood cats in the past :(   Mowgli is mainly an indoor cat, but once she is familiar with her home she does like to explore outdoors. We often let her out to patrol the yard for an hour or so in the afternoon, and she never goes far. She can be pretty vocal, and is not shy about letting you know it's her breakfast time! Her favorite activity these days is snoozing. She likes laying in sunny spots, will cuddle with you at night, and is an excellent lap warmer. She can be timid at first in a new environment, but will warm up especially if there aren't other animals around to make her nervous.   Mowgli is untested around children, our best guess is that she'd be fine but cautious around them. As you can see in the photos, Mowgli is a chonky girl. She is spayed, and other than her weight she seems relatively healthy. However, she is not up to date on her vaccinations and is overdue for a vet visit. If this is an issue for you, feel free to reach out and we can discuss options! Overall if you're looking for an older cat that resembles a bowling ball and has a heart of gold, Mowgli is your gal! If you are interested in learning more about Mowgli please put in an application found at catscradlerescue.com under the word Adoption. Mowgli is mainly indoors only and her adopt fee is $40   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 10, 2024, 9:46 pm

Story
Mochi (M, blue/gray) and Koi (F, tortoiseshell) are brother and sister and are 1 year old. They came from a larger litter that was found starving and exposed to the elements outside my home last year. Most of them made it, and took care of them until I found them homes. I tried once to rehome Koi and she returned because the new owner's adult female cat was very combative. I know Mochi was very glad to have her back when I took her back in.   I believe it would be in their best interest to go to a home together, as they seem bonded. Koi is a huge love bug and loves curling up on your chest. She's also an amazing bug huntress! She's a bit goofy at times, and finds the ceiling fan to be a very interesting contraption. Somtimes she just stares at it perplexed, while tilting her head. It's important to know that she is very shy at first and needs a few days to warm up to things, but she comes around much faster when her brave brother shows her it's safe.   Mochi is a big loverboy as well. He mostly prefers to be near you and in the same room, but sometimes he will sit in your lap if he wants more attention. He's very silly and has those signature zoomies, and usually gets it out of his system before bedtime. He's very curious and brave and loves diving into an open paper sack or just checking out anything new you bring home. He's great with other animals and loves playing with dogs, believe it or not! $60 for the pair. Indoor only.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
