Story
Beautiful fluffy cat that was adapted by our family, she was found outside by church in the teen years. She is about 4 years old now, gave birth a few times to beautiful kittens. Unfortunately, my kids are allergic and she needs a new home. She is very calm, very gentle, and kind cat! Loves people! She likes being inside and outdoors.

Story
Shadow is a sweet, affectionate 4year old girl who has been deeply loved since she was a kitten. She is a gentle, loving cat who enjoys biscuiting, cuddling, lounging with her person, and being part of the family. She can be a little shy and sensitive at first, but once she feels comfortable, she has a very affectionate personality. Shadow is healthy, up to date on her vaccines, and has been well cared for throughout her life. She has had some occasional vomiting that her vet is currently managing with diet and anxiety/stress management; her recent bloodwork and ultrasound were normal. I’m looking for a loving, stable, and predictable forever home where Shadow can feel safe, receive lots of affection, and have someone who will be patient with her as she adjusts. She would do best with someone who understands that cats can be sensitive to changes and is committed to giving her a calm, permanent home.

Story
Every once in a while, a foster family gets a kitten who makes them say, “There is just something about this one.” For Tuck’s foster family, that something is the way he loves people. He doesn’t simply enjoy being around them. He connects with them, seeks them out and has this wonderfully affectionate way of making his people feel like they are very much his people. And yes, sometimes that love looks like a gorgeous grayby kitten draped around their shoulders. Tuck loves to climb up, make his way around your neck, settle onto a shoulder and stop periodically for kisses and nose boops. It is hilarious and ridiculously cute, but once you know him, you realize it isn’t really about the climbing. Tuck just wants to be close. He is the kitten who notices where you are and wants to come along, who turns attention into interaction and who seems happiest when he is sharing his little world with somebody. Go watch Tuck on YouTube and you’ll understand why his foster family adores him so much. His special brand of love is much easier to appreciate when you can actually see this tiny guy in action, confidently making himself at home with the people he trusts. https://youtu.be/IPBXmg2pxFg He has also had such a good start in life. Tuck is being raised in a loving foster home with children and another cat, where he has been beautifully handled, socialized and very clearly adored. He is confident, curious and comfortable being part of everyday family life. He isn’t a kitten who needs to watch everything from the sidelines before deciding whether to join. Tuck is already on his way over. Of course, he has all the fun that comes with kittenhood, but what feels especially meaningful about Tuck is the relationship waiting underneath it. He has the makings of a cat who will truly know his person. The kind who comes looking for you, wants to be included and develops his own little rituals and language of affection with the people he loves. There are plenty of wonderful kittens in the world. Tuck is one of those special ones who makes you imagine not just bringing home a kitten, but gaining a little companion who is going to be woven into your being. His foster family has gotten to experience what it feels like to be loved by Tuck. Now they’re hoping the right person gets to be next. Apply to adopt Tuck through the Three Little Pitties Rescue adoption application here- https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6a7c796ab9b98702260ece88 Reach out to his adoption coordinator jacquelynn@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $86 surcharge for transport.
