Story
Boris (5 ear old British Shorthair) came to us when one of our children could no longer care for him due to a change in living circumstances, and he has been a much-loved member of our family ever since. He is an incredibly handsome boy with a gentle, loving personality. Boris may take a little time to warm up, but once you’ve earned his trust, he becomes a wonderful cuddler and loyal companion. He knows his name, enjoys being near his people, and has a calm, easygoing nature. He is extremely clean, low-maintenance, and easy to care for — a truly wonderful housemate. Boris co-exists beautifully with our golden retriever and appreciates a peaceful home environment. When the weather is nice, Boris enjoys supervised outdoor time and a bit of adventure. He’s confident and capable (including climbing trees and getting himself safely back down!), but he’s happiest knowing he has a loving home to return to. Making the decision to rehome Boris has been incredibly difficult, especially as we are preparing for a move and uncertain about our ability to keep him long term. We love him deeply and want nothing more than to find him a safe, caring home where he can be cherished. Boris lives with us in Hillsboro and his rehoming fee is $50. He is indoor only with supervised outdoor time. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
