This sweet girl is as loyal as they come and truly loves being by your side. She appears to be potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and knows her basic commands. She’s very treat-motivated (training will be a breeze!) and seems to get along well with other dogs. Calm, affectionate, and devoted, she’s happiest sticking close to her person. Bonus: she loves the snow and would thrive with someone who enjoys chilly adventures just as much as cozy companionship. ? Loyal • Loving • Well-mannered • Snow lover.

She came to us as a stray, and while her past is a bit of a mystery, her personality is slowly shining through. Theresa is friendly and affectionate with people she knows and trusts. New situations can be a little overwhelming for her—she can be nervous around loud noises and is still learning to feel comfortable walking on a leash. With patience, consistency, and reassurance, she continues to make progress every day. Because of her sensitive nature, Theresa would do best in a calm home with someone who has Akita experience and understands the value of going at her pace. Given time to settle in and feel secure, she has the potential to be a deeply loyal and loving companion.If you’re looking for a graceful soul who just needs patience and understanding to truly blossom, Theresa may be the perfect match. Theresa has currently came back from a foster home and has been with a dog and horses and has done well. She is housebroken and loves children.
