Hi! I’m Willow, a fluffy, fearless little girl with a big personality and plenty to say! I’m spunky, confident, curious, and just a little bossy like a classic female Malamute who enjoys testing boundaries and keeping everyone on their toes. I look the way I act, like a husky.
I’m an adventurous explorer who likes to take the initiative and investigate everything around me. New experiences don’t intimidate me, and I’m already practicing my vocals to make sure my opinions are heard! I’m happiest when I’m near my people and do not enjoy being left alone, so I’ll need patient guidance as I learn that short periods of independence are safe. I will sleep in my crate but I will surely let you know when I need to use the potty.
I’m working hard on potty training, and puppy pads are going very well. I’m still only eight weeks old, though, so sometimes I remember that I need to potty, but forget that I’m supposed to wait until I make it all the way outside! With a consistent routine, supervision, and lots of positive reinforcement, I should continue making great progress.
Please remember that I won’t stay this small for long. I’m going to become a large, strong, very hairy working dog who will need substantial training, lots of exercise, enrichment, grooming, structure, and attention. Prior Malamute and/or husky breed experience is a must because we are very smart cookies and will outsmart you any opportunity we get.
