Story
🏠 Currently in a Vancouver foster homeCotton is a 10-month-old Samoyed–Spitz mix weighing around 10kg, with fluffy fur and the sweetest smiling face. True to the name “Cotton,” this beautiful pup has a soft, warm presence that instantly melts hearts. The way Cotton looks up at people with a wagging tail and bright eyes makes it impossible not to fall in love.Cotton was rescued from a city shelter just before euthanasia. Despite experiencing such a difficult start at such a young age, Cotton has never lost trust in people. This pup is incredibly affectionate, gentle, and full of bright energy. Cotton absolutely loves human companionship and is happiest simply being near people — following them around, asking for attention, and greeting everyone with excitement and love.Cotton also gets along very well with other dogs. With a friendly and easygoing personality, this pup adapts well to social environments and could do wonderfully in a home with another dog companion. However, Cotton is still very much a puppy. At only 10 months old and currently around 10kg, there is still plenty of growing left to do. Future adopters should keep in mind that Cotton may continue to grow both in size and strength as maturity approaches. Most importantly, Cotton has never experienced life in a real home before. Having grown up in a shelter environment, everyday routines such as house training, leash manners, learning to stay home alone, and understanding household rules are all still new experiences. Like any young puppy, Cotton may have accidents, bursts of energy, playful curiosity, and moments of clumsy learning along the way. These are not “problem behaviors,” but simply part of growing up and learning about the world. Cotton needs a family who understands that patience, guidance, and consistency are essential during this stage of life. With love and time, Cotton will grow into an incredibly loyal and loving companion who bonds deeply with the people trusted most.Cotton is the kind of dog who shines brighter the more love is given. This sweet pup brings warmth, joy, and happy energy wherever they go. Still young, playful, and full of life, Cotton is waiting for a family who will cherish not only the beautiful appearance, but also the tender heart behind those smiling eyes. Once, Cotton almost lost the chance at life. Now, this special pup is hoping to find a forever family who will never let go again 🤍

Story
QUICK FACTS Name: Margarita Age: About 7 Months Old (Born on October 2025) Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Samoyed – Jindo Mix Color: White Weight: 8kg / 17.6lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the city shelter before my time there came to an end. The shelter felt uncertain and unfamiliar, and I quietly waited without knowing what would happen next. Then someone chose to give me a chance at a different life. That moment became the beginning of something softer and safer for me. Now I’m learning to trust, to relax, and to enjoy the gentle parts of life little by little. With each passing day, my hopeful heart grows a little brighter.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Margarita. I’m currently in my adorable “monkey face” puppy stage, which means I’m growing, changing, and discovering the world a little more every day. New environments can make me feel slightly unsure at first, but I’m not truly shy—I just need a little moment to settle in and understand that everything is okay. Having dog friends around helps me relax quickly, and once I feel comfortable, my affectionate and playful side comes out naturally. I love people, enjoy attention, and happily share my sweet puppy charm with everyone around me. Even though I’m curious about the world and still learning about many new things, I have a softer, calmer personality compared to some puppies my age. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving puppy with a curious heart and a sweet personality that blossoms more each day, I would love to grow up by your side.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly with a gentle approach—especially if treats are involved. Once I feel comfortable, I happily accept touch and enjoy staying close to my people. I’m also comfortable being picked up, which helps me feel safe and cared for. I haven’t had the chance to meet young children yet, so I may simply need a little time and guidance as I experience something new. · With Dogs: I’m a naturally social dog who loves meeting new friends—I’ll happily walk up, say hello, and invite them to play. Big dogs, small dogs, or dogs my own size, I greet everyone with the same friendly and open-hearted energy. Having another dog nearby also helps me feel more secure and relaxed, and I often gain confidence from the comfort of a companion. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy spending time outdoors and taking in the world around me, then relaxing quietly once I’ve had my fun. I’m still learning about walks and building my confidence step by step. With gentle guidance and consistency, I continue to make steady progress and become more comfortable with each outing.   TRAINING & HABITS I’m gentle and trusting with people around my food and feel comfortable sharing space during mealtimes. Around other dogs, I prefer having a little personal space while eating and may quietly communicate that boundary if another dog comes too close. I’ll use my voice from time to time to let you know when I want something I settle calmly in a kennel I adapt well to both indoor pads and outdoor bathroom breaks.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I feel most comfortable when I have another dog nearby. Their presence helps me relax and feel more secure, and I often gain confidence from having a calm dog companion by my side. I’m currently practicing walks and potty routines, and like any young puppy, I’m still figuring things out step by step. The good news is that I adapt quickly once I feel safe, and I’m expected to settle beautifully into home life with a little patience and guidance.    MARGARITA'S YOUTUBE PLAYLIST   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.co ##2736675##

QUICK FACTS Name: Taya Age: About 5 Years Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Samoyed Mix Color: White Weight: 27kg / 59lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was rescued from the euthanasia list at the city shelter. Now I’m safe and ready to start a new chapter with a loving family of my own.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Spayed & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Taya, a fluffy and lovable girl with a big heart—and yes, a little extra fluff on my body too! When we first meet, I can be slightly cautious at first, but it doesn’t take long— I warm up and become comfortable. Once I do, you’ll see how much I love affection. I enjoy being petted and even love being brushed. I’m very gentle with people and get along well with other dogs. Even though I’m a big girl and other dogs rarely challenge me, I’m a true peace-lover and have no interest in fighting. I’m a dog who is smart, sweet, and full of quiet charm. With a loving family and some healthy adventures together, I’ll become the happiest companion you could ask for.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I might be a bit shy when we first meet. But if you offer me a tasty treat, I’ll happily take it and warm up to you quickly. Before long, we’ll be friends and you’ll be able to pet me too! I haven’t had the chance to meet children under 13 yet, but with careful introduction, I’m sure I’ll get along great with them. · With Dogs: When I meet a new dog, I like to walk up and say hello. I’m friendly and curious, but I like to take things slow. I’m very gentle-hearted. Even when another dog tries to provoke me, I usually choose to walk away instead of getting into trouble. I like to keep things calm and friendly. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown       ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy outdoor activities like walks and exploring, and I’m always happy to spend time outside. After some fun outdoor time, I’m also very good at settling down and resting quietly at home. I have a nice balance between playtime and relaxation. I have plenty of experience going on walks, so I’m a very polite walking companion. I don’t pull on the leash and I follow my person nicely. I love calm, enjoyable walks where I can stay right by your side and explore the world together.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food from people, but if another dog comes too close while I’m eating, I might give a little growl to let them know it’s my mealtime.Sometimes when I want something — like attention, treats, or playtime — I might bark to let you know. When I’m placed in a kennel, I stay calm and settle down nicely.I’m mostly used to going potty outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever     Taya's Youtube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2684218##

Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster homeSamuel is a 2-year 11-month-old male Samoyed-Jindo mix, weighing 18.7 kg. At just six months old, Samuel was placed on the euthanasia list at a city shelter along with his sibling, Yuel. Thankfully, they were both rescued, and he is now staying at our training center, slowly regaining his trust in people and desperately hoping to start a new life with his forever family.Samuel’s personality is very gentle and non-aggressive. However, due to his traumatic past, he tends to be wary of strangers and takes time to warm up to new people. When he first arrived at our training center, he was very shy, but after a few days, he gradually opened up and revealed his naturally sweet and affectionate personality.Because he does not easily approach unfamiliar people and will require ample time and patience to adjust, extra care should be taken during walks to prevent any escape attempts, and household entryways should be securely managed until he fully bonds with his new family.Like a typical Jindo mix, Samuel has an independent streak. However, he also strongly exhibits the Samoyed’s affectionate nature and responsiveness to human connection. Once he builds trust, he expresses deep affection.Samuel gets along well with other dogs and has formed a particularly strong bond with his sibling, Yuel. Since they have spent so much time together, he may experience separation anxiety if they are apart, and this should be considered when adopting. He currently goes outside for bathroom breaks three times a day and enjoys running freely with his canine friends in the exercise yard. However, during the adjustment period in a new home, occasional accidents may occur. Once he settles in, he should quickly adapt to an outdoor potty routine again. It is recommended to start taking him on walks only after he has bonded with his new family. Due to his Jindo mix heritage, he has a strong homing instinct. If he is suddenly taken far away or travels by plane, he may become confused and instinctively try to find his way back home. To prevent this, walks should only begin after he fully recognizes his adopter as family. Even then, a double leash or harness is essential for safety.Samuel still carries emotional scars from his traumatic past and may be shy and cautious at first. However, for those that are willing to endure that initial period and patiently wait for his trust, Samuel will become the most loyal and loving lifelong companion.
