QUICK FACTS Name: Uyu Age: About 8 Months Old Gender: Female (Spayed) Breed: Samoyed Mix Color: White Weight: 12.4kg / 27lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed   MY RESCUE STORY I was found tied up, left without proper food or water. Now I’m safe, cared for, and ready to start a new life filled with love and comfort with my forever family.   MY HEALTH All vaccinations up-to-date Neutered & healthy with no known health issues   MY PERSONALITY Hi, I’m Uyu, a beautiful and incredibly friendly dog with one of the best personalities you’ll ever meet. I’m naturally sweet, very smart, and quick to understand what you’re saying. I enjoy playing with toys—especially fetch—and I love interacting with my humans. People often say I’m even more beautiful in real life. But what truly makes me special is my personality—I’m known as one of the sweetest dogs ever rescued. I’m ready to bring joy, intelligence, and endless affection into my forever home.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS · With People: I’m a very loving pup! Not only with people I know — I’ll happily walk up to new people, rub against them, and let them hold me in their arms and pet me right away. Guess what? I’ll even roll over and show my belly to someone I just met — it’s my way of saying I feel safe and would love some belly rubs! I haven’t had the chance to meet children under 13 yet, but I’m sure I’ll get along great with them!   · With Dogs: I’m a very friendly pup! I don’t just stick to dogs I know — I’ll happily walk up to new dogs, say hello, and even invite them to play. I’m friendly with dogs of all sizes — bigger dogs, dogs around my size, and even smaller pups. I’m not the one to start a fight. Even when another dog tries to provoke me, I usually choose to walk away instead of getting into trouble. I like to keep things calm and friendly. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown   ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY I have moderate energy level – I enjoy outdoor activities like walks and exploring, and after some fun outside, I’m happy to settle down and rest quietly at home. I have lots of experience going on walks, so I’m a very polite walker. I don’t pull on the leash, and I follow my person nicely. I love calm, easy walks where I can stay right by your side and enjoy our time together.   TRAINING & HABITS I don’t guard my food — not from people and not from other dogs. I’m very easygoing at mealtime.I’m generally a very quiet pup and rarely bark. When I’m placed in a kennel, I stay calm and settle down nicely.I can get pretty carsick when riding in the car, so I may need a little extra care during trips.I’m mostly used to going potty outside.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together A family that will love and cherish me forever   SPECIAL NOTES I can get carsick when riding in the car, so I may need a little extra care during trips.   Uyu's Youtube Playlist   Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2688971##

Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster home Samuel is a 2-year 8-month-old male Samoyed-Jindo mix, weighing 18.7 kg. At just six months old, Samuel was placed on the euthanasia list at a city shelter along with his sibling, Yuel. Thankfully, they were both rescued, and he is now staying at our training center, slowly regaining his trust in people and desperately hoping to start a new life with his forever family. Samuel’s personality is very gentle and non-aggressive. However, due to his traumatic past, he tends to be wary of strangers and takes time to warm up to new people. When he first arrived at our training center, he was very shy, but after a few days, he gradually opened up and revealed his naturally sweet and affectionate personality. Because he does not easily approach unfamiliar people and will require ample time and patience to adjust, extra care should be taken during walks to prevent any escape attempts, and household entryways should be securely managed until he fully bonds with his new family. Like a typical Jindo mix, Samuel has an independent streak. However, he also strongly exhibits the Samoyed’s affectionate nature and responsiveness to human connection. Once he builds trust, he expresses deep affection. Samuel gets along well with other dogs and has formed a particularly strong bond with his sibling, Yuel. Since they have spent so much time together, he may experience separation anxiety if they are apart, and this should be considered when adopting. He currently goes outside for bathroom breaks three times a day and enjoys running freely with his canine friends in the exercise yard. However, during the adjustment period in a new home, occasional accidents may occur. Once he settles in, he should quickly adapt to an outdoor potty routine again. It is recommended to start taking him on walks only after he has bonded with his new family. Due to his Jindo mix heritage, he has a strong homing instinct. If he is suddenly taken far away or travels by plane, he may become confused and instinctively try to find his way back home. To prevent this, walks should only begin after he fully recognizes his adopter as family. Even then, a double leash or harness is essential for safety. Samuel still carries emotional scars from his traumatic past and may be shy and cautious at first. However, for those that are willing to endure that initial period and patiently wait for his trust, Samuel will become the most loyal and loving lifelong companion.

QUICK FACTS  Name: Aesop Age: 5 years old Gender: Male (Neutered) Breed: Samoyed Jindo mix Color: Beige Weight: 19kg / 42lbs Microchipped, Fully Vaccinated Up to Date, Dewormed    MY RESCUE STORY  I was rescued from a crowded city pound after being placed on the euthanasia list due to lack of space. Thankfully, I was saved just in time, and now I’m ready to find my forever family and begin a beautiful new chapter.    MY HEALTH  • Neutered & healthy with no known health issues • All vaccinations up-to-date    MY PERSONALITY  I’m a friendly, loving boy who truly adores both people and my dog friends. Volunteers and staff are always complimenting how well-behaved, gentle, and sweet I am. They say I have such a kind soul, and any lucky family who welcomes me home will be showered with loyalty and love. One of my special talents is looking into your eyes and communicating softly with my sweet facial expressions — I have a way of melting hearts without even trying. And trust me, I’m even cuter and more handsome in person! I love playing with toys and have a fun, energetic side that keeps life exciting. I’m the perfect mix of gentle and playful — ready to be your best friend, adventure buddy, and cuddle companion all in one.    MY SOCIAL SKILLS  · With People: I’m super sweet and affectionate with everyone I meet! I absolutely love soaking up love and attention from the volunteers and staff, and I happily lean in for pets and cuddles whenever I can. Being close to my people makes me the happiest, and I even allow myself to be picked up and held. I haven’t had much experience with children under 13 yet, but with my gentle and friendly nature, I’m confident I’ll do well with respectful, kind kids who understand how to be sweet with me. · With Dogs: I love playing with my dog friends and meeting new pups along the way. Playtime is always a highlight for me, and I enjoy making new canine companions. I generally feel most comfortable with dogs my size or smaller, where we can have fun and interact in a way that feels balanced and happy for everyone. · With Cats: My reaction to cats is unknown. A cat test can be arranged upon request to ensure the best fit.    ENERGY LEVEL & ACTIVITY  I have a moderate energy level and enjoy a nice balance in my day. I love spending time outdoors, exploring and taking in all the sights and smells around me. After I’ve had my adventure, I’m more than happy to come inside, curl up, and relax with some cozy snuggle time.    TRAINING & HABITS  I walk nicely on leash and do a wonderful job following my handler’s lead. Walks are one of my favorite times, and I’m happy to stay connected with my person as we explore together. I don’t guard my food from people or other dogs, and I have calm, easygoing manners around mealtime. I rarely bark and know how to rest peacefully in my kennel when it’s time to relax. I’m also well-adjusted with my potty routine and can use both indoor pee pads and go outdoors. I’m truly a well-mannered boy who fits easily into home life.    MY IDEAL HOME  I’m searching for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: • A family that will provide me with a safe haven – where I can decompress, be myself in a stable environment • A family that understands my past and is patient with me throughout • A family that enjoys indoor and outdoor time together • A family that will love and cherish me forever    SPECIAL NOTES  When the volunteers and staff first saw me at the city pound, I looked so defeated — sad, skinny, and malnourished. I would even let my kennel mate take my food because I was too discouraged to stand up for myself. Seeing that, the volunteers gave me extra care and attention, and little by little, I began to feel safe again. Now that I’m in the care facility, surrounded by love and kindness, I’ve opened up so much. My sweet, affectionate personality has truly blossomed. I’m a bright, happy boy with a super handsome smile, and I get along well with both people and dogs. I know I have so much potential inside me, and with the right forever family, I’ll continue to shine and show just how loving and wonderful I can be.   Aesop's Youtube Playlist    Apply to foster or adopt: https://www.welcomedogkorea.org  For Inquiries: info@welcomedogkorea.com ##2668589##
