Story
Samuel is a 1-year 6-month-old male Samoyed-Jindo mix, weighing 17 kg. At just six months old, Samuel was placed on the euthanasia list at a city shelter along with his sibling, Yuel. Thankfully, they were both rescued, and he is now staying at our training center, slowly regaining his trust in people and desperately hoping to start a new life with his forever family. Samuel’s personality is very gentle and non-aggressive. However, due to his traumatic past, he tends to be wary of strangers and takes time to warm up to new people. When he first arrived at our training center, he was very shy, but after a few days, he gradually opened up and revealed his naturally sweet and affectionate personality. Because he does not easily approach unfamiliar people and will require ample time and patience to adjust, extra care should be taken during walks to prevent any escape attempts, and household entryways should be securely managed until he fully bonds with his new family. Like a typical Jindo mix, Samuel has an independent streak. However, he also strongly exhibits the Samoyed’s affectionate nature and responsiveness to human connection. Once he builds trust, he expresses deep affection. Samuel gets along well with other dogs and has formed a particularly strong bond with his sibling, Yuel. Since they have spent so much time together, he may experience separation anxiety if they are apart, and this should be considered when adopting. He currently goes outside for bathroom breaks three times a day and enjoys running freely with his canine friends in the exercise yard. However, during the adjustment period in a new home, occasional accidents may occur. Once he settles in, he should quickly adapt to an outdoor potty routine again. It is recommended to start taking him on walks only after he has bonded with his new family. Due to his Jindo mix heritage, he has a strong homing instinct. If he is suddenly taken far away or travels by plane, he may become confused and instinctively try to find his way back home. To prevent this, walks should only begin after he fully recognizes his adopter as family. Even then, a double leash or harness is essential for safety. Samuel still carries emotional scars from his traumatic past and may be shy and cautious at first. However, for those that are willing to endure that initial period and patiently wait for his trust, Samuel will become the most loyal and loving lifelong companion.

Story
ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Buddy M. Age: 6 years old Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Samoyed/ Jindo mix Colour: Beige Weight: 30kg / 66lbs Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi there! I’m Buddy! My life was hanging by a thread when I found myself on the euthanasia list at a city pound. Just when I thought my days were numbered, kind-hearted rescuers stepped in and gave me a second chance at life. I’m truly one of the lucky ones, and every day I’m grateful to still be here, ready to share my love with the world!   MY HEALTH Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete)  I’ve been neutered and have no known health issues.   MY PERSONALITY I got my name Buddy because I’m destined to be your best buddy for life! When you first meet me, you’ll be amazed by my graceful presence—photos and videos just can’t capture my true beauty. I’m a strikingly handsome boy, and I come with a charming personality to match. I already know my basic manners like sit, stand, and wait, and I carry myself with a calm, confident energy. Volunteers and staff always say I’m the kind of dog who can adjust well anywhere I go. I absolutely love people and get along wonderfully with my dog friends, making me the perfect companion for just about any home.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I’m wonderful with people! I love greeting new faces and soaking up all the affection and pets I can get. Once I trust you, I’m quick to roll over and show my belly—it’s my way of saying, “You’re special to me.” And don’t let my bigger size fool you—I’m a total softie who even allows myself to be picked up. While I haven’t spent much time with kids yet, my gentle and calm nature makes me confident I’ll do great with respectful, dog-savvy little humans. I’m also very polite at mealtimes and never guard my food from people.   With Dogs:  I’m friendly with dogs too! I enjoy greeting new pups and making new friends, and I especially click with dogs around my own size. I’m a gentleman at mealtimes and don’t guard my food from other dogs. In a brand-new environment, I might get a little startled if another dog rushes up too quickly—only because it surprises me—but I’m all about keeping the peace. I truly enjoy the company of other dogs and love sharing my space with canine companions who appreciate a calm, friendly vibe.   With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, but with a slow and thoughtful introduction, I think I could learn to live peacefully with a feline friend.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a joyful, high-energy spirit! I love to run, play, and let all my excitement out—it’s my way of embracing life to the fullest. Give me space to stretch my legs and I’ll happily zoom around until my heart’s content. Once I’ve had my fun, I settle down beautifully indoors, curling up beside you and soaking in every cuddle. I’m the perfect mix of playful adventurer and loyal snuggle buddy.   TRAINING & HABITS I walk nicely on leash and usually follow my handler’s lead, though I like to explore the world around me at my own pace. I’ll bark when I want your attention or when I notice strangers nearby—but don’t worry! Once I realize they’re friends and not foes, I quickly calm down. I know how to rest quietly in my kennel and enjoy peaceful downtime. I prefer doing my business outdoors, keeping my space and home nice and clean.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help me become the best version of myself. I’ll thrive in a home with: A family that offers a safe, structured, and calm environment. A family that enjoys spending quality time together indoors & outdoors. A family that can shower me with love and attention. Understanding of my breed’s characteristics (Samoyed & Jindo).   SPECIAL NOTES I’m a handsome, calm, and affectionate boy who loves people and gets along well with my dog friends. I’m looking for a loving family who will enjoy my playful, sweet, and loyal personality—and I can’t wait to be your best buddy!   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Buddy’s YouTube Playlist ##2494085##
