Story
I'm Carrot, a charming 2-year-old Samoyed Jindo mix looking for my forever home. My journey began in 2021 when I, along with my mom and siblings, was sadly abandoned near a stream. Fortunately, Yongin Animal Protection Association in S. Korea rescued me, and now I'm ready to share my love with you. I might be a bit shy at first, but my love for people knows no bounds. I warm up quickly, and before you know it, I'll be nuzzling against you for those cherished cuddles. My social skills extend to my furry friends too; I get along famously with other dogs and am always eager to make new acquaintances. I'm leash-trained and well-behaved in my kennel. I have a moderate energy level, so after our adventures, I'm content to lounge and relax by your side. Oh, and during our walks, I might leave a little mark to let others know I've been there—it's just my way of saying hello! I'm not possessive about food, and barking is not my style. Let's embark on this journey together—filled with wagging tails, shared moments, and everlasting love. https://youtu.be/p2fh5ZN-Pmo?si=WknE4vcSLh9EdpG2 https://youtu.be/G-kY7LemLX4?si=k8ktWS01_L2fT8Fg

Story
I'm a 2-year-old male Cream-colored Samoyed and Jindo mix, and I have a story to tell you. In 2021, when I was just a little pup, I, along with my mom and siblings, was abandoned near a creek. Luckily, the kind folks at the Yongin Protection Association rescued us and brought me to a shelter. I've been waiting patiently for a family to call my own ever since. I'm a real sweetheart, you know. I love people, get along great with other dogs, and I'm always up for some playtime. It doesn't take me long to warm up to new faces; I'll be nudging you for pets and attention in no time. When it comes to meeting other doggy pals, I'm all for it—I'm friendly and love making new friends. However, being cooped up in the shelter has left me a bit unaccustomed to the outside world. When I first step out for a walk, I get so excited that I tend to pull on the leash. But don't worry, once I've had a good run around and let out some energy, I settle down to a more leisurely pace. That's when my playful side really shines—I'll show you just how charming and adorable I can be. One special thing about me is that I'm not much of a barker, and I'm quite well-behaved in my crate. So, if you're looking for a companion who brings joy without the noise, I might just be the one for you! https://youtu.be/8OVIqiqF_Go?si=fr027T3O1Dzn8opI https://youtu.be/HOugrw0G_Ew?si=r8TuPH9p_4qT4rf5 https://youtu.be/G-kY7LemLX4?si=k8ktWS01_L2fT8Fg

Story
Name: Gomi Age: 1 year old Gender: Male Neutralization: Completed Breed: Samoyed & Jindo Mix Color: Black Hey there! I'm Gomi, a charming mix of Samoyed and Jindo, with sleek, shiny black fur and an adorable face that's bound to steal your heart. My journey hasn't been easy – I was born and raised in a dog meat farm, where every day was a struggle to survive. But thanks to a stroke of luck and some compassionate souls, I've been given a shot at a brand new life, and now I'm eagerly waiting for my forever family to find me. I'm a social butterfly with an easygoing personality. Meeting new people? Piece of cake! I love everyone I meet, from old friends to total strangers, and I'm always up for a good cuddle session – no treats required! Just being around me, you'll feel a sense of warmth, comfort, and pure joy radiating from my furry self. When it comes to other furry friends, I'm generally open to making new pals. However, I might not see eye to eye with bigger, more assertive personalities, so it's probably best if I find a home where I can be the center of attention or with smaller, more easygoing companions. I'm a pro at enjoying the simple things in life – good food, fun playtime, and leisurely strolls in the great outdoors. While I'm not much of a toy enthusiast, I absolutely adore spending time with my human pals and going on exciting adventures. Plus, I'm a leash-walking champ and always make sure to take care of business outside like a true gentleman. Despite the challenges I've faced in my past, I'm ready to embrace the future with open arms and a heart full of love. If you're in need of a loyal companion who'll stick by your side through thick and thin, look no further – I'm your guy! Story
Name: 마음 (Maeum) Age: Estimated 3 years old Gender: Male Weight: 13 lbs Breed: Mixed breed Neutered: Neutered (recovered from heartworm) Vaccination: Completed 4th round Relationship with Adults: Maeum is a bit fearful of all adults, but he particularly loves female humans. He has experienced trauma from male humans, so he needs more time to build trust with them. He's been living in a foster home for 8 months, and he's still afraid of men, but with patience, he will likely adjust well. Relationship with Children: Maeum is scared of children as they have thrown stones at him in the past. However, he doesn't reject their touch and can get along with children in the same household. Relationship with Other Dogs: He is not very interested in other dogs and can be fearful of both large and small dogs. Sometimes he may show interest in bigger dogs if they have a similar body language, but caution is advised as he's still learning social skills. Relationship with Cats: Maeum is also scared of cats but doesn't pay much attention to them. He is a considerate and gentle dog, so he may get along well with cats once he's familiar with them. House Training: Initially, Maeum may do some marking until he fully adjusts, but currently, he has no bathroom accidents. He tends to lift his leg and urinate, so using longer pee pads against the wall is a good idea. Energy Level: He is extremely gentle and timid, not prone to accidents or mischief. He is quite fearful of loud noises and toys that make noise. Separation Anxiety/Barking: Maeum has some separation anxiety because he loves human interaction. He may show signs of it in the first few minutes but can wait quietly when left alone. He rarely barks, except when he's happy to see people. Affection and Petting: He loves being petted and cuddled. Walking: Maeum enjoys walks and walks calmly. He may be uncomfortable in unfamiliar places or around loud noises, especially when children are playing with balls nearby. Escape Possibility: Maeum doesn't try to leave the side of those he trusts (typically females). There's very little chance of him running away, but caution is advised when outside. Rescue Story: Maeum spent a long time as a stray dog, living in a large open space with other dogs. He endured harsh weather conditions, facing extreme cold in winter and scorching sun in summer. He had no shelter and had to deal with mosquito swarms every evening. Despite this, he greeted people who came to feed him, but some cruel individuals cut his leash and chased him away. A few days later, he was found at a shelter, rescued, and brought to safety. He's an incredibly sweet dog despite the hardships he's faced. Please note that Maeum's past experiences have left him with some fears and anxieties, so it's essential to provide him with a patient and loving environment to help him heal and adjust. Please apply at www.welcomepawsrescue.org. This pet is currently in Korea but can fly to Lax, JFK, DFW, Chicago, SFO, SeaTac, DC, Boston, ATL, Vancouver and Toronto upon the adoption.
