I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Korea, and thanks to some very kind people, I now have the chance to find the loving forever home I’ve been dreaming of. &#226&#156&#168 Adoption Details: My adoption fee is $2,200, which is a non-refundable donation that directly helps save more dogs like me. This fee covers my neuter, vaccinations, microchip, boarding, health certificate, and transport costs all the way from Korea to Seattle. A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you can bring your own or purchase one from us. Please note: we do not guarantee breed or age, as both are best estimates. Story
Lobo is a 6yo husky Samoyed mix with a super goofy, curious and loving personality. He’s got the energy and sass of a husky and all the cuddles and floofiness of the Samoyed. He loves being with his people and would do well in a home with active, patient humans. He loves people and kiddos but would do best in a home with older children. He loves adventures, loves the water and loves food! Very food motivated but can be protective of his food especially with other dogs. He does well on walks though requires patience and obedience cues as he can get a bit reactive with other dogs. He loves pup friends and going in walks in packs with others that don’t like to play rough but does need supervision around resources. He’s a super sweet guy looking for a home with some space and humans that love husky quirks and all the floof he provides! He will make you laugh lots with his awoo’s and then cuddle up next to you for a belly rub.

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Frank Sinatra from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 2 year, 8 months old male Golden Retriever - Samoyed mix.  I am approximately 57 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, and friendly.  l was saved from the Korean dog meat farm where I was due to be slaughtered.  I don’t know how I ended up there but I was so scared and I used to hear the cries from the other dogs as they were taken away.  The activists came and saved us and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,795 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  We cannot guarantee breed or age. Needs a patient family who can wait for him to feel safe. * With Dogs: Gets along very well with his friends at our center. * With Cats: Tends to chase them, so caution is required. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown because he currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Unknown, but he currently prefers outdoor potty breaks. * Walks: Showed great walking skills during his time at the training center. * Hygiene: Was very well-behaved during grooming and hygiene care at the training center. * Because he is fearful, he may try to nip if forced into something. Rescue Story * ​Cheonsong was found abandoned in a vinyl greenhouse in Songcheon-dong, Jeonju. Trapped in stifling heat reaching 48°C (118°F) with only food waste and mossy water to consume, she still weakly wagged her tail to greet rescuers. Adogs stepped in to save Cheonsong so she could leave her lonely past behind and find a loving home in a safe environment. ​3. Personality & Traits * ​With People: Very shy and fearful, often trying to avoid people. Freezes up and stays on guard when approached. * ​With Dogs: Gets along okay with doggy friends at the center, though she doesn't actively mingle. * ​With Cats: Has not met cats yet. * ​Separation Anxiety: Shows no separation anxiety since she isn't overly dependent on humans. This may change in a new environment, though. * ​Potty Training: Uses outdoor potty at the center, but will go indoors if urgent. May need retraining in a new home. * ​Grooming: Unaccustomed to human touch, she freezes while being brushed. No major biting, though she has occasionally nipped softly when overwhelmed. * ​Leash Walks: Has no walking experience yet. * ​Car Rides: Shows no signs of motion sickness. * ​Nipping/Biting: May show defensive nipping if startled by sudden movements or being grabbed abruptly. * ​Barking: Barks occasionally around mealtimes to ask for food faster. * ​Overall Temperament: Extremely timid and fearful.
