I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Korea, and thanks to some very kind people, I now have the chance to find the loving forever home I’ve been dreaming of. &#226&#156&#168 Adoption Details: My adoption fee is $2,200, which is a non-refundable donation that directly helps save more dogs like me. This fee covers my neuter, vaccinations, microchip, boarding, health certificate, and transport costs all the way from Korea to Seattle. A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs — you can bring your own or purchase one from us. Please note: we do not guarantee breed or age, as both are best estimates. Disco was born January 7, 2020. Got him during the beginning of covid when I got back from deployment from a reputable breeder. He needs a lot of attention and grooming. He gets bored easily, therefore long walks or dog park adventures is required. He can become mischievous if he doesn’t have an outlet to release all his energy. He’s very friendly but can be rough at times. He doesn’t know his own strength and size sometimes, so it’s best to keep him away from tiny humans. He loves water and mud and loves to dig, best to keep an eye on him when off leashed. A bit stubborn but he shares the same amount of love to anyone that gives him pets and of course, treats.

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Frank Sinatra from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 2 year, 8 months old male Golden Retriever - Samoyed mix.  I am approximately 57 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, and friendly.  l was saved from the Korean dog meat farm where I was due to be slaughtered.  I don’t know how I ended up there but I was so scared and I used to hear the cries from the other dogs as they were taken away.  The activists came and saved us and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,795 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  We cannot guarantee breed or age. It makes me so sad to write this, but we are looking to re-home our sweet dog Lucy. We are moving and unfortunately are not able to bring her with us. We adopted Lucy during Covid, and she has been such a wonderful family dog ever since. She is incredibly loving, totally safe with kids, loves walks, being around people, scratches, and sneaking treats under the table at dinnertime. She doesn’t get on furniture and is perfectly content laying on a blanket at your feet just happy to be near her people. Lucy does have separation anxiety and has done some significant chewing in our home over the years. She has been on and off anxiety medication, though she generally seems calmer without it. She really loves being outdoors as much as possible, she is calmest and happiest there. Our dream would be to find her a home with a fenced yard — or even some land — where she can roam safely during the day, get lots of attention, and be surrounded by love. Thank you!

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Kiowa is one of our long-timers, and has been waiting for her perfect forever family with us for over 4 years! Kiowa is a ~9 year old, ~80 lb Malamute/Husky mix. She is very sweet, playful and friendly! Kiowa has specific adoption requirements: - Fully 6ft+ fenced yard and free standing home outside of the city (not available for adoption in King County) - Breed experience - No cats or small critters Kiowa is a great girl ready to join her active forever family. Kiowa is smart and loves to play! She would make a great adventure buddy. Though she is active, she has a great demeanor and can relax with her people after some activity. Kiowa is playful, happy, sweet and friendly with people. She does well with other dogs but is better with males, so we are looking for a male dog of like size in the home for her companion! She can be dominant with other females at times, but is friendly and happy when out and about meeting other dogs. She is used to spending her time in a play yard with other playful huskies! Kiowa is spayed, microchipped and UTD on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $400.

True to his Husky roots, Steel is playful, adventurous, active, and always ready for his next adventure! He is a friendly and social boy who enjoys being around people and does well with other dogs. He can be a little bossy with his canine friends at times, so he’ll do best with a dog who appreciates his confident personality and playful energy. Steel is looking for an active home where he can get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and time to explore. A securely fenced yard would be ideal for him to run, play, and burn off some of that classic Husky energy. Because of his activity level, he is not suited for apartment living. Steel has not yet been tested with cats or children, so those introductions would need to be evaluated on an individual basis. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, adventurous companion who will keep you on your toes and make every day a little more exciting, Steel might just be your guy! 🐾 Steel is UTD on shots, microchipped and neutered.
