Story
Samuel is a 1-year 6-month-old male Samoyed-Jindo mix, weighing 17 kg. At just six months old, Samuel was placed on the euthanasia list at a city shelter along with his sibling, Yuel. Thankfully, they were both rescued, and he is now staying at our training center, slowly regaining his trust in people and desperately hoping to start a new life with his forever family. Samuel’s personality is very gentle and non-aggressive. However, due to his traumatic past, he tends to be wary of strangers and takes time to warm up to new people. When he first arrived at our training center, he was very shy, but after a few days, he gradually opened up and revealed his naturally sweet and affectionate personality. Because he does not easily approach unfamiliar people and will require ample time and patience to adjust, extra care should be taken during walks to prevent any escape attempts, and household entryways should be securely managed until he fully bonds with his new family. Like a typical Jindo mix, Samuel has an independent streak. However, he also strongly exhibits the Samoyed’s affectionate nature and responsiveness to human connection. Once he builds trust, he expresses deep affection. Samuel gets along well with other dogs and has formed a particularly strong bond with his sibling, Yuel. Since they have spent so much time together, he may experience separation anxiety if they are apart, and this should be considered when adopting. He currently goes outside for bathroom breaks three times a day and enjoys running freely with his canine friends in the exercise yard. However, during the adjustment period in a new home, occasional accidents may occur. Once he settles in, he should quickly adapt to an outdoor potty routine again. It is recommended to start taking him on walks only after he has bonded with his new family. Due to his Jindo mix heritage, he has a strong homing instinct. If he is suddenly taken far away or travels by plane, he may become confused and instinctively try to find his way back home. To prevent this, walks should only begin after he fully recognizes his adopter as family. Even then, a double leash or harness is essential for safety. Samuel still carries emotional scars from his traumatic past and may be shy and cautious at first. However, for those that are willing to endure that initial period and patiently wait for his trust, Samuel will become the most loyal and loving lifelong companion.

The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,695 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.JERICHO walked into Malley Valley like he owned the place, confident and cool.  He is full of energy and loves to play with toys.  He will play fetch when he’s in the mood or will toss and rip a stuffed toy until it’s destroyed.  It’s all about having some fun. Once JERICHO is done playing, he is ready for affection and attention.  He is a mellow dog who gets along well with other dogs, often ignoring the small barking ones. JERICHO rides well in the car, easily jumping in to go on an adventure.   He appreciates treats and the opportunity to counter surf, probably a little too much.  He enjoys taking walks and could use the activity to lose some of the extra fluff. Are you looking for a fun, adventure buddy and cuddle bug?  JERICHO is your boy!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 15, 2025, 7:48 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.LOKI needs to be with a family that can provide the time he deserves and space to be able to run. A nice big, fenced yard would be wonderful! Since he is young, he has a lot of energy and needs to be exercised multiple times daily. LOKI enjoys playing with other dogs his size, a good game of chase or wrestling helps burn off some of that energy. But as with any playtime it should be supervised. Although LOKI enjoys playing with other dogs, he needs to be the only dog in his home. He doesn't like to share his humans with others. This boy is a big lover and a pack animal, so he will never want to leave your side and is always ready for snuggles. He loves exploring the outdoors, going on sniff walks, hiking and camping. If you have experience with his breed, looking for a younger dog to enjoy many adventures with, LOKI is the perfect boy for you. He will be your best adventure partner! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 3, 2025, 10:38 am
