Imagine welcoming Milo🩵, a stunning 4-year-old Samoyed/husky, into your life!🤩 This loving and loyal companion thrives on one-on-one attention and training, and he's perfectly suited for an active partner who enjoys running, exploring, and spending quality time together. Yet, Milo also cherishes lazy days and snuggling with his favorite person. With a foundation in basic commands like sit, heel, down, stop, pull, no pulling, and come, Milo excels when working alongside his person😻. Due to reactivity to other dogs on walks, Milo flourishes in spacious environments with large yards or quieter settings where he can feel secure and relaxed. He needs a seasoned owner who understands reactive dogs and can offer structure, love, and guidance. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this special boy, submit your application today!🙏🐾 Currently being cared in BC, Canada, Milo can be transported to his forever home🏡 in the northern states like Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or elsewhere within the continental United States where a loving family eagerly awaits.

Story
🏠 Currently in a Toronto foster home Samuel is a 2-year 8-month-old male Samoyed-Jindo mix, weighing 18.7 kg. At just six months old, Samuel was placed on the euthanasia list at a city shelter along with his sibling, Yuel. Thankfully, they were both rescued, and he is now staying at our training center, slowly regaining his trust in people and desperately hoping to start a new life with his forever family. Samuel’s personality is very gentle and non-aggressive. However, due to his traumatic past, he tends to be wary of strangers and takes time to warm up to new people. When he first arrived at our training center, he was very shy, but after a few days, he gradually opened up and revealed his naturally sweet and affectionate personality. Because he does not easily approach unfamiliar people and will require ample time and patience to adjust, extra care should be taken during walks to prevent any escape attempts, and household entryways should be securely managed until he fully bonds with his new family. Like a typical Jindo mix, Samuel has an independent streak. However, he also strongly exhibits the Samoyed’s affectionate nature and responsiveness to human connection. Once he builds trust, he expresses deep affection. Samuel gets along well with other dogs and has formed a particularly strong bond with his sibling, Yuel. Since they have spent so much time together, he may experience separation anxiety if they are apart, and this should be considered when adopting. He currently goes outside for bathroom breaks three times a day and enjoys running freely with his canine friends in the exercise yard. However, during the adjustment period in a new home, occasional accidents may occur. Once he settles in, he should quickly adapt to an outdoor potty routine again. It is recommended to start taking him on walks only after he has bonded with his new family. Due to his Jindo mix heritage, he has a strong homing instinct. If he is suddenly taken far away or travels by plane, he may become confused and instinctively try to find his way back home. To prevent this, walks should only begin after he fully recognizes his adopter as family. Even then, a double leash or harness is essential for safety. Samuel still carries emotional scars from his traumatic past and may be shy and cautious at first. However, for those that are willing to endure that initial period and patiently wait for his trust, Samuel will become the most loyal and loving lifelong companion.

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Harper from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 10 month old female Samoyed  mix.  I weigh approximately 28 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup.  My adoption fee of $1,695 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple Air Tag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an Air Tag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This is TILLY, a cute female Alaskan Malamute who is eagerly looking for her furever home. She may be a mixed breed, but has the malamute mask, brown eyes and big paws. Tilly is the leader of their little pack. Loves to run, climb play, but can be short tempered. Easy to train and funny like her sister. Loves to give snuggles and kisses but quickly runs off to play. Loves to jump and play chase. Likes to be close to you when you sit. Very sweet. She is leash trained but only if you go where she wants to go. Knows to sit and wait for treats versus grabbing for them.  She is c rate trained and on her way to being potty trained. She has very few accidents anymore and will try to let you know when she needs to go out Tilly and her litter mates were recently found in Eastern Washington.  They were rescued and brought into foster homes where they are beginning their puppy training.  Unfortuantely, someone docked their tails but otherwise they are healthy, happy and full of energy. She will have all her vaccinations, is already altered and ready for a new home soon. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet SHASTA, a beautiful Malamute mix with a bright spirit and an adventurous heart. She’s an active, outdoors‑loving girl who thrives on long walks, hikes, and any chance to explore the world with her people. If you’re someone who loves fresh air, movement, and a loyal companion by your side, she’ll fit right in. Shasta gets along wonderfully with other dogs and she’s been exposed to a wide variety of animals. She does well with cats, chickens, ducks, pigs, and even a goose. The only animals she struggles with are rabbits, so a rabbit‑free home is important. She’s crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and knows a great set of commands, including: Sit, Wait, Load up, Okay (her release word), Leave it, Cross (she waits for permission to cross the road), Paw, High Five and Get it. Her recall still needs work, so she should remain on leash during outdoor adventures for now. With consistency and patience, she’ll continue to grow. Shasta will do best in a home with older kids or no kids, simply because her energy and enthusiasm are better suited to a more mature household. She’s an ideal match for outdoorsy people who enjoy staying active and want a dog who can keep up. Most importantly, she’s looking for people with lots of love to give—because she has plenty to give back. Shasta is ready for a life full of adventure, companionship, and affection. If you’re looking for a loyal, energetic partner to share your days with, she might be the perfect fit.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 27, 2026, 3:01 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Odyssey — The Big, Goofy Malamute With an Even Bigger Heart If you love a dog with personality, presence, and a whole lot of charm, Odyssey is ready to win you over. This big, smiley Malamute is the definition of a gentle giant—affectionate, goofy, and absolutely devoted to the people he loves. Odyssey is known for his escape‑artist theatrics and his playful “catch me if you can” routine, but his oversized ears always give him away. He may try to act sneaky, but he’s far too endearing to pull it off. Because he’s clever and curious, he’ll need a secure 6‑foot fenced yard to keep his adventures safe and contained. What Odyssey loves most is attention. Leaning into you for affection, rolling over for belly rubs, and staring at you with the most loving (and sometimes hilariously awkward) gaze—these are his specialties. Despite his size, he’s a total sweetheart who just wants to be close to his people. Watch him run and you’ll see those big ears bounce in every direction, perfectly matching his joyful, slightly clumsy energy. Whether he’s joining you for a long walk or romping around the yard, Odyssey brings fun and enthusiasm to everything he does. Odyssey is the perfect match for a family who: Has a secure 6‑foot fenced yard Enjoys an energetic, playful companion Appreciates a dog who is both goofy and deeply affectionate Wants a larger‑than‑life personality who will always keep them smiling Life with Odyssey means laughter, love, and a whole lot of Malamute charm. If you’re looking for a big sweetie who will fill your days with joy, Odyssey is ready to be your new best friend.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 27, 2026, 3:01 pm
