❗Current Location: in a private shelter in South Korea ❗ Meet Cami: Your Future Best Friend! Name: Cami Gender: Male Age: Approximately 1 year Weight: 15 kg Neutered/Spayed: Yes Vaccinations: Up-to-date on rabies and core vaccinations Health Issues: Cami had some minor injuries upon rescue, including a few small tears on his body and ear, likely from wild animals. These have fully healed. Heartworm and Babesia tests came back negative. Story: Cami was found sleeping in the lobby of an apartment building. Friendly and affectionate, he followed people around and tried to enter homes, leading to a complaint with the management. Despite attempts to find his owner via chip scanning and local advertising, no one came forward. Cami seemed to have been a house dog who either lost his way or was abandoned. After a brief stay in a local elderly woman's yard, he is now in a training center and at our home, where he has been transitioning well. Compatibility with Other Pets: Cats: No interactions yet, so unsure how he will respond. Dogs: Currently living with about 10 other dogs at the training center and gets along well with them. He shows a preference for human interaction over playing with other dogs. Good With Children: Yes, he was friendly with children when found. Has not had recent interactions with kids. Grooming Needs: Moderate shedding (5/10). Walking Manners: Excellent. Cami is well-behaved on walks and follows commands well. Diet and Allergies: Currently eating Royal Canin food and enjoys chicken-based treats. No known allergies or picky eating habits observed. House Training: Outdoors for bathroom needs. Separation Anxiety: None observed, but further observation might be needed. Barking: Quiet indoors but will make some noise when excited or at dog-friendly places. Likes and Dislikes: Likes: Loves people and enjoys spending time indoors with them. Dislikes: Not fond of having his food or toys taken away, will growl if this happens. Personality in Three Words: Affectionate, Energetic, Intelligent Cami is ready to find his forever home where he can shower his new family with love and affection. Puff is an 8 year old female fluffy puffy ball of fur! She was found as a stray and brought in to the Hesperia Animal Control. She arrived covered in burs, plant debirs and foxtails. After a bath and brush out, she is feeling much better! She is friendly and sweet! She is looking for a forever home that will maintain her beautiful white puffy coat! You can meet Puff at the Costa Mesa Petsmart (620 West 17th street, Costa Mesa) on Saturdays from 11:30-2:00!

11 year old Zoe is a gentle little Pomeranian mix with a heart far bigger than her paws. She came into foster care after her owner entered hospice, and sadly, the family was unable to take her in. Despite this big change, Zoe has remained incredibly sweet and trusting—a quiet testament to her loving nature.Zoe is house-trained, and has a wonderfully calm and affectionate disposition. Zoe enjoys going for walks, light playtime, and being near her people. She’s not demanding, just happiest when she knows you’re close by—her version of security.Zoe has had one eye removed and is blind in her remaining eye. Even so, she gets around surprisingly well and adapts beautifully to familiar spaces. Because of her limited vision, she does need constant supervision when she’s not in her safe, confined area to ensure she stays comfortable and secure.Zoe would thrive in a loving home with someone who works from home or is home most of the day—someone who understands that companionship is her greatest need. In return, she offers devotion, gentleness, and the kind of quiet love that fills a room without making a sound.Zoe isn’t broken—she’s simply special. From her Foster Parent:Leila (lay-luh) is about 2 yrs old, 30-ish lbs and a one of a kind beauty. This sweet girl has a lot of anxiety and trust issues- she takes a long time to get to know someone and gifts her trust in small chunks (and what a gift it is!). We’re not sure the ‘why’ behind that, but we do know that in order to win that trust you must be very patient, go very slow and be gentle with all your interactions with her. She’s sound sensitive, so a quieter calmer home will definitely be a better placement for her. She’s minimally vocal herself, having only barked a handful of times in her foster home, and all of those times were in reaction to something. She is more comfortable with other dogs around, so would love to become a dog-sibling to a playful, upbeat, patient pup of any age. She’s very smart and taught herself how to use the dog door and knows the house routine, especially in connection to walks and meal times. When she joined her foster home, she didn’t eat or take treats right away due to her anxiety- but over time she has become very food enthusiastic and loves to get treats and snacks. She is not cuddly, and may never be, but she has learned to accept scratches and pets- but it took some time and effort to get there. The home she is looking for will have outdoor space for her to enjoy and sit in the sun and bug hunt for fun (her favorite activity). The human/s she’s looking for will be very patient and understanding of her needs to navigate her anxiety, no small children, and have a willingness to take her on walks every day and provide a structured routine to help her relax. She seems to adapt better to women, but will warm up in time with men. Leila won`t be a dog that connects quickly, but with compassion, dedication, understanding and empathy coming her way, in time she will show her playful, sweet demeanor and become a really wonderful buddy.
