Story
Meet the gentle lady Dana! 🐶💜 Dana gave birth to 8 baby puppies at the shelter. We were so amazed by her strong spirit and heart. She tried to take good care of all the babies, and all of them met their forever family. Now it's her turn to get some love and care!! Dana has beautiful black fur and cute brown eyes!💕 She's wearing white socks. She's calm and so gentle. 💟 Personality / Characteristics *Energy Level (1~10): Level 4 *She can be shy and reserved around strangers initially, tending to feel awkward and might avoid them. However, she's a timid sweetheart who follows people around and enjoys human touch. 🖤 *She doesn't bark unnecessarily due to external noises or follow the other dogs in barking. *She has an independent nature, needing her own space and time. *Just like the distinctive appearance resembling a sloth bear, she's lively in the shelter and sometimes displays robust and fearless behavior. 💪🏻 *She sheds. *She's a relaxed dog who enjoys lounging and taking it easy at the shelter

Story
Meet Rosy❣️ She's rescued from Korean city shelter with her sibling, Rose. Although she almost entirely lost her fur due to severe dermatitis, she was able to overcome it on her own. She also recovered from parvovirus!! What a brave girl! * Appeared timid at first but with time turns to such a endearing dog that shows affection to people and wags tail.🥰 * Loves other dog companion! Hesitates a little when she sees overly energetic dogs but wags tail and greets them soon. * Separation Anxiety : Whines a little at first but calms down quickly and waits patiently. * Potty Training : works well on pads! Usually goes walking for outdoor potty. * Has trainings on walks and is learning how to walk in step with a walker. * Woofs at strange noises but stops quickly. Other than that, no barking at all! 💙 Foster's Instagram: @maze_plus_rozy 💙 Health Issues : Under treatment of Giardiasis and Corona

Story
Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a registered 501(c)3 Web Site: www.aberdeenstr.com ***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation*** Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog. We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes in WA state, but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, or cash. We no longer accept PayPal because of the percentage they take & their fees but if the potential adopter wants to pay the fees we will accept PayPal. The call was put out for the need from commercial breeders who needed some of their dogs gone, at a cost of course in the middle of Omaha. Of course they always want money for the dogs & of course once we know about them we are not leaving them & do what we have to do to help them. But despite where they lived & were going to be used to make money off their backs, they were all the most precious bundles of joy. His life was instantly changing in that moment & only for the better. He was one of the very lucky ones. On this day we rescued Bear & 15 other baby dolls which 2 others were his siblings. He is a puppy & is still learning his puppy manners. Now the real healing, love & devotion could begin & show Bear how he is supposed to be loved & adored in a loving forever home just as he is in his foster home. Bear & his friends & siblings were bought back to the WA state where he is now is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Bear is the gentler oh the bunch. He spends his days playing with his siblings & his foster brothers. Adores toys & chewing on toys. For everything he has been through his foster mum said he is such a lovely little chap. Bear his foster mum said is the smallest guy of the bunch. Very sweet little guy, loves cuddles, needs a bit of reassurance when he is away from his liter mates but looks to the human for leadership. Will be a great addition to a family. Smart & very eager to please and learn The reality is, the foster homes are hid real first experience at being in a home, with a tv, bedding she can snuggle up in, a roof over head that’s not outside. Bear is a wonderful eater & is not shy about eating & has not been since the day we got him & is foster mum took her home. He adores comfy beds & big comfy blankets because again the reality is, this is something he did not get to experience ever until he was rescued. He is such a fun puppy who just wants to be loved & to make up for his past. He loves everyone. He would still need to be taught to walk on a harness & leash. He is a puppy & we have not taken him out anywhere. But his foster family have been teaching him on their property. Bear rides in the car well & considering the only times we know of was when he went to be sold & when we got him & going home with his foster family & to & from the vets. It’s still all new to him though. We are looking for a crate free home for this little lad only. Bear as you can imagine spent the first part of his life in a caged environment. We are also looking for a forever home for Bear where someone is home during the day or he can go with her people wherever possibly he can go with them. When they find someone who treats them as they should be treated & loves them they get so attached to them. Bear is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be patient with him & never give up on him. Bear has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes in the rescue & in his foster home & he is currently with other dogs & adores other dogs. He absolutely must go to a forever home with a dog or dog’s present in the home roughly the same size for him to thrive in. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take him to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory along with a fully fenced backyard. Bear is roughly 12 lbs & he is 7 months old & ‭a schipperke‬. He has put on weight since being in his loving foster home. What he is mixed with we are not sure, male, he will be neutered by laser by our wonderful vets, he is microchipped, receive his last shots, including DHLPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed & neutered by laser. We have spent far more on Bear with paying for him from a commercial breeder. Bringing him to WA with his travel/flight costs, his transportation to WA. All of his medical care in WA etc & bringing him to WA then his adoption fee comes close to covering. His adoption fee does not even cover half of what we have spent on this little lad. Bear has not been around cats since being in the rescue, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals together & we have not him around small children so we do do not recommend small children nor cats though & it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & cats. We were not there when Bear was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Bear’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Bear potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Bear & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on. Or you waste this rescues time, will remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit via WebEx or Zoom due to covid & followed by a meet & greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Bear who understands his needs & that meet all the requirements for the special sweet little Bear. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Bear has an adoption fee of $1250 & is ready for his truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what he has been through.

Story
My name is Logan, and I'm a 3-year-old male Shiba Inu mix. Life hasn't always been easy for me. I was found wandering the streets with my sibling, but now I'm ready to find my forever home. I'm a social butterfly! I love approaching new people, wagging my tail, and showering them with affection. I get along great with other dogs, both familiar faces and new friends. I must admit, sometimes I can get a bit defensive if other dogs provoke me, so it's best if I'm in an environment where everyone plays nicely. I haven't had many chances to explore the world on walks, so I might be a bit jumpy around busy streets or loud noises. But once we're back home, I'm all about chillin' and relaxing. I'm not much of a barker, and I share my food like a true gentleman. In fact, I'm quite well-behaved in my kennel, and I'm ready to be the loyal companion you've been looking for. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1bo9klN6JE&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JxVjFlWlgh4ux7xkgMfDBVd ❤ we accept both Canada/US applicants ❤

Story
My name is Gam, and I'm a 3-year-old Shiba Inu mix. Life's journey brought me to a university area in Gwangju City when I was just a wee pup, abandoned and wandering. Thankfully, I was rescued and found my way to a shelter where I've been waiting for my forever home. I'm a real people lover, but I can be a bit shy around strangers at first. However, offer me a tasty treat, and you'll quickly see my true colors—I'm eager to make friends and eager to please! I absolutely adore children and love to play with them. While I'm polite enough to say hello to other dogs, I prefer quality time with humans over roughhousing with my furry friends. If provoked, though, I won't hesitate to stand my ground. I might pull on the leash a tad during walks, but with a little guidance, I'm a quick learner and will happily trot alongside you. After our adventures, I'm more than content to relax quietly by your side. I'm also quite well-mannered when it comes to indoor and outdoor potty habits. When it comes to strangers, I might bark a bit to let you know they're around. However, if other dogs encroach on my territory, I'll give a warning growl and protect my food. But in the safety of my kennel, I'm as quiet as a mouse. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's equal parts playful and polite, then look no further! I'm ready to bring joy, love, and a whole lot of tail wags into your life. Let's embark on this adventure together! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KliE04E-CLk&list=PLIsLTtIpe3Jwe_e5-3EqS1BSOAqm7GSjr ❤ we accept both Canada/US applicants ❤

Story
Currently in Toronto foster home Meet this adorable pup with an incredible rescue tale! This sweet girl's mom endured a tough life in a tiny cage until she was finally set free, along with her entire family, thanks to a caring rescue team. Venturing out of her cage for the first time in four months, joy was initially timid but quickly transformed into a joyful, bounding bunny of excitement! She adores exploring the great outdoors and shows it by hopping around with glee. While a bit shy at first, she warms up to strangers over time, especially women, and can't resist a belly rub once she trusts you. Loud kids may startle her, but with patience, she'll be your cuddle buddy in no time. With other doggy pals, she's a social butterfly, getting along swimmingly with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Although she may playfully climb on smaller dogs, she's a peacekeeper preferring to stay calm and avoid conflicts. This charming girl lives harmoniously with three feline companions, engaging in playful antics without a hint of aggression. If the cats dart around, she'll join in the fun, showing her gentle nature. Energetic and curious, she thrives on outdoor adventures and loves discovering new places. Once she's exhausted her energy, she's perfectly content relaxing indoors. Although she pulls on the leash out of excitement, she's a champ at following directions. Busy streets and loud noises may spook her, but she's as quiet as can be—no unnecessary barking from this sweetheart! Transitioning to new environments can be intimidating for her, but with gentle reassurance, she'll warm up quickly, rewarding you with kisses once she feels safe. And did we mention she's a foodie? This girl loves her treats! She's also a chew addict, relishing in wood sticks and toys that keep her entertained. Car rides are a breeze for her, though she might jump out if too excited, so buckle up for a safe journey together! Baths are no fuss, and she's a pro at drying off—making grooming a breeze. If you're ready for a loyal companion who's as sweet as can be, reach out to welcome this delightful pup into your loving home! She's eager to share her love and joy with you.
