Meet Delilah! Delilah is a very sweet girl with a heart as big as her 70-plus-pound frame. She’s not your average doodle—she’s an outgoing, affectionate lady bursting with curiosity and a puppy-like zest for life. Once she bonds to you, she becomes your loyal shadow, always eager to play, be loved, and soak up every bit of attention. Delilah enjoys the company of other dogs, is crate trained, and is this close to mastering the dog door. She loves learning and has already picked up “sit” and “touch,” and she’s currently working on “stay.” Training sessions are one of her favorite ways to connect. Because of her size and enthusiasm, Delilah will do best in a home with older kids (high school age and up) and with someone who has prior dog experience—ideally someone confident with large breeds. She’ll thrive with a family committed to giving her both the physical exercise and mental enrichment she needs. Delilah has beautiful markings, an adorable face, and mostly straight hair with charming curls on her head and neck. Her past wasn’t easy, but she’s ready for a future filled with love, patience, kindness, and new adventures. She has so much affection to give and truly deserves a family who will cherish her.
