Story
Aoki is a gentle, sweet girl who has had a tough life. I adopted her from a shelter and was told she was a stray beforehand. The shelter told me that she was 9 years old but the vet has told me that she is older. Aoki enjoys naps, eating, or cuddling. I left her out to free roam because she doesn’t chew on items and is pee pad trained. She does have major anxiety so I would prefer if her new home has someone that’s always there or an owner that works for home with no other dogs. Bunnies are ok. She is also scared of water and will have an anxiety attack if it rains. Aoki also needs dental work done and her breath is very strong. She just recovered from being spayed in March so it was advised that I wait until summer for another procedure. Aoki also has a problem with urinary stones, so she is on a very strict, prescribed diet. Her dry food cost around $40 and wet food is $5 a can. She also has an unknown skin condition. She is high maintenance but she’s so worth it.

Story
Meet Dixie — a happy, friendly poodle mix who is ready to find her forever home alongside her best buddy, Daisy! About a year old, Dixie is affectionate, social, and loves spending time with both people and other dogs. She has a fun-loving personality and enjoys playtime just as much as cuddle time. Dixie and Daisy share a close bond and must be adopted together. Like many young dogs, Dixie is energetic and curious, and she will need a securely fenced yard where she can safely play and explore. She can be quick at open doors, so a home without small or very young children is recommended to help keep her safe. Dixie is looking for a patient, loving family ready to welcome two wonderful companions into their lives. Dixie currently weighs about 40lbs., is approximately 1 year old (est. birth date 02/19/2025), and her adoption fee is $510. Dixie has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Dixie and Daisy, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.

Story
Meet Daisy — a lovable young poodle mix with a sweet personality and a playful spirit! At about a year old, Daisy is friendly, affectionate, and enjoys being close to her people. Daisy is very bonded with her best friend, Dixie, and the two must be adopted together. Because she is still young and curious, Daisy will need a home with a securely fenced yard and a family that can be mindful at doors, as she may try to slip out if given the opportunity. For that same reason, a home without small or very young children would be the best fit. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with lots of love to give, Daisy is ready to meet you — especially if you have room in your heart for her best friend too! Daisy currently weighs about 45 lbs., is approximately 1 year old (est. birth date 02/19/2025), her adoption fee is $510. Daisy has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
