Story
A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Solstice is a gorgeous, wiggly, doodle-looking girl with big chocolate eyes and a resilient heart. She was very pregnant when seized by animal control, but found safety in a foster home where she raised her puppies and began healing. Now recovered from her spay, she’s ready to find her forever family. She adores her foster mom—running to her for pets, cuddles, and gently placing a paw on her arm for affection. Solstice appears to attach strongly to one person but is very slow to trust others. A pellet removed from her body confirms she’s been through hard times, but she has never shown aggression and allows vet staff to handle her without issue; she simply chooses distance from unfamiliar people whenever possible. She seems to do well in a home with dogs, and interacts well with children and cats. Solstice needs a patient, experienced adopter who understands fearful dogs and will let trust grow at her pace. We are seeking a home with another dog, as she would benefit from having a playmate. She walks beautifully on leash. Appears low- to non-shedding, and is fully house trained. For the right person, Solstice will be a deeply loyal and loving companion. Solstice currently weighs about 29lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 04/10/2023), and her adoption fee is $510. Solstice will be spayed soon, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Meet the L litter! Leighton and her 7 other siblings were rescued from an over crowded animal control shelter. These sweet small poodle mix puppies are looking for the right family to provide life long love and guidance. Their est. birth date is 10/28/2025. They have all been been spayed/neutered, microchipped and given all age appropriate vaccines and preventions. Leighton has an adoption fee of $510. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as they will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years.     Meet  Murray Mills , a 10-pound gentleman with a heart as big as his fluffy curls! At 11 years young, this sweet poodle mix is the perfect blend of calm cuddler and occasional goofball — he loves to snuggle but will happily prance around the yard when the mood strikes. Murray enjoys his neighborhood walks and greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and pure joy — men, women, and small dogs alike. A happy boy, Murray also gets adorable spurts of energy and when he does his smile melts hearts. He’s fully potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and thrives on companionship, so he’d love a home where someone is around most of the time to keep him company. Murray sleeps soundly in his cozy dog bed but is happiest when he’s close to his people, watching the action (or maybe sniffing what’s cooking!).  Like many distinguished seniors, Murray has a few quirks — he wears a belly band to help with marking, and his vision and hearing aren’t what they used to be, though he gets around just fine with a little patience and reassurance. At just under eight years old, he is looking for a patient and loving family to help him settle into his golden years.
