Kuro is a 6-year-old male Mini Goldendoodle with a playful spirit, a loving heart, and the most endearing personality. He came to us when his owner could no longer care for him, and now he’s patiently waiting for a fresh start with someone special. This adorable boy is social, affectionate, and loves to play - especially a good game of tug! Kuro walks beautifully on a leash, gets along well with other dogs, and is both housebroken and crate trained. He would do best in a home with children ages 12 and up. Kuro has a sensitive heart and thrives with gentle guidance, clear direction, and consistent reassurance from his person. He can feel a bit anxious at first during car rides or when initially going into his crate, but with calm support, he settles in quickly. His nervous energy is very responsive and trainable - he’s always looking to his person for cues and comfort. Kuro would truly blossom with a calm, confident owner who can offer structure, positive reinforcement, and lots of love. If you’re looking for a loyal, lovable companion who just wants to feel safe and secure, Kuro may be the perfect match. Kuro currently weighs about 20 lbs., is approximately 6 years old (est. birth date 02/21/2020), and his adoption fee is $510. Kuro has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Story
Make way for Captain Picard—a 4 month old 8.5 lb Schnoodle mix puppy on a mission to explore couches, laps, and hearts everywhere. This sweet beautiful boy is affectionate, cuddly, playful, and happiest when he’s close to his people. Picard is currently in training mode and doing well with housetraining when given a consistent routine. With trips outside every 1–2 hours, he avoids accidents and continues to make great progress. He thrives on positive praise and is eager to please his crew. He loves running and playing with his foster dog brother and enjoys short leash walks together as they boldly go around the neighborhood. At night, Picard sleeps in a crate in his foster parent’s bedroom and settles down easily as long as he can see his humans. He’s still working on being comfortable crated alone, so continued crate training will be important in his future home. Picard loves everyone he meets, including children. He approaches new people with confidence and affection. This little explorer is ready for his next adventure. Picard needs someone who is home most of the time, as he does exhibit some separation anxiety.
