Texas adoption only Bramble is the ultimate companion dog for your dog that you didn't know you need. He is a happy adult dog, 17# scruffy little terrier, who loves to cuddle & play with other dogs. He is also fine with the company of cats. Humans though, take longer to earn his trust due to Bramble's traumatic past. With patience & time, he will eventually come up to you for gentle head pets...as long as you don't look at him! He is enthusiastic about food, will take treats from your hand, likes routine. Although timid, he is NOT a biter. He even occasionally enjoys bathing & brushing. Bramble is so deserving of a safe & loving home with at least one doggie buddy. Is that home yours? Hi! My name is Poe and I am from Kentucky. From his foster : Poe is very curious and full of puppy energy. He likes to be the center of attention. He loves the outdoors. He is still working on his puppy listening skills, but getting smarter each day! He is still a puppy and learning during this "teething time". . He'd rather sniff around for yummy snacks than come when you call so definitely a great get to know me game will be treats and recall. He is working on potty training but will sometimes miss the pad. He sleeps well in a kennel big enough to host a bed and a pee pad. He is early to bed and early to rise. Update from a temp foster: He slept 8+ hours a night in his crate without a peep. He is still a puppy so will try to chew on things besides his toys but he understands a stern "no" and will stop pretty much right away. He loves to cuddle and will somersault into your lap when he's feeling playful. When he's tired, he'd love to curl up next to you. He loves to be outside and is pretty good on walks - he is still learning about the world and will plop his butt down and think hard about cars or runners going by. Anyone would be lucky to have him forever!

Hi! I'm Casey. I'm from Minnesota. From his foster: Casey is a sweet, easygoing older gent who loves to snuggle and follow his person around the house. He gets along with other dogs, except maybe at mealtime, and is a happy sidekick to my older, dog savy kids (but would probably be fine with any kid who is gentle with him.) he's potty trained, but does better with a belly band if left for a stretch since he's older. He's happy and spry for his age, and appreciates but doesn't require walks. Casey does get anxious on car rides and gets very vocal, so he wouldn't be a happy sidekick for a traveler.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Holly (darker colored) and Patsy (lighter colored) are a bonded pair. Their DNA test showed that they are a Pug/Poodle Mix! They weigh 12 and 15lbs. They are very sweet gals. They are quite affectionate with others and each other. We guess their birthday is somewhere around 7/2022 - 12/2022. They get along great with other dogs of all sizes. They even boss my 70lb Lab/Pittie mix around with ease. They haven't been around cats, but I believe they’d do fine.  They are very treat motivated. They are potty trained on a schedule. They greet me very excitedly each day when I get home.  They both love attention, snuggles and belly rubs. They are pretty active when they are outside and love to play and run in a fenced yard. They are escape artists so a secure 6’ fence is a must with these two or they will need to be on a tie out. They do play and get vocal at times inside. Walks are a work in progress for them. They tend to bark and react to squirrels and other dogs walking by but with some training and guidance, this should improve over time. When you settle down to watch a movie, they will too. They are great snugglers. When I work from home, they want to be near me, sometimes even in my lap. They spend weekdays in their kennels for about 8 hours. They do bark at first, shared walls will not be a good mix for these two talkers.  They prefer to sleep with their people.  It’s been a joy to having Patsy and Holly in our home and we know they will make a wonderful addition to any family they join who have the time to commit to 2 fun little pups.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal?
