Story
My name is Yoko. I came from Garland Texas under the hospice program. But after addressing his medical concerns, I am becoming a senior adoptable. A few words from his foster: Yoko is a senior dog that came from Texas in July. He is vision impaired, sweet and smart. He is housebroken and does well on a schedule. Mostly after he eats he needs to go out fairly soon after. He does get daily eye drops and can give some tips to give them easy. He is a good sleeper. He can go up the stairs with no problems, is best to be carried down stairs and he has learned to navigate his way around really well with very limited eye sight. A baby gate would be best to limit his space if you have stairs just to start and he would do fine with being kenneled when gone. He is turning into a happy little dog, who loves to snuggle and go for walks. He likes going on short walks. He loves to wander around and sniff everything. He really is a special dog, everyone that meets him just love him. He likes getting all the pets and attention but does like his own space especially when he is sleeping. He is just a sweet, mellow boy who gets along with both my dog and cat so no issues if there are other animals in the house. Medical Bio/From the Vet: We are so excited that Yoko is ready to find his forever home. He has been in rescue for a little over 1 year, and in that time we have been able to successfully manage his medical conditions. He had glaucoma in both eyes, one of which could not be successfully managed, so treatment was removal of the eye. His left eye is managed on two medicated eye drops. His hyperthyroidism is well managed on an oral medication called Levothyroxine. Bloodwork is recommended every 6 months while on this medication to account for any dose changes that may be needed. He has been started on 2 different anti-anxiety medications to help with some fear based reactivity. The estimated total cost of Yoko's medications would be approximately $50. We hope that we can find him a perfect spot to land to be spoiled and loved in his golden years!

Location: Lakeville, MN Dennis is a sweet, timid boy who needs a gentle, patient home. He loves to run and play and gains confidence around other friendly dogs—he does best with canine companions. He’s also comfortable with cats, horses, and is great with kids, often preferring them to adults. Dennis is shy but wants to trust and be close to people. He’s good on leash, though he may freeze when nervous, and responds well to patience. He’s still adjusting to life indoors and is quietly making progress. Dennis truly deserves a loving family to help him feel safe and secure. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. Enzo is an affectionate, gentle little poodle who truly shines once he feels safe and settled. He loves his people and enjoys being close, but he can startle easily—sudden noises can catch him off guard. Because of this, Enzo will do best with a patient adopter who understands shy or sensitive dogs and is willing to help him continue building confidence. Enzo gets along very well with other dogs and has lovely manners. He needs a home with another friendly dog to help show him the ropes and give him reassurance. He’s not high energy and is content with a calm, predictable routine. He is a good eater, sleeps nicely in his kennel, and kennels well when his foster runs errands for a couple of hours. Enzo is also a good little car rider. He walks well on leash and his recall is coming along—he’s learning and picks things up fairly quickly. Yep, that's me. I am a sweet, affectionate, goofy, mini poodle who loves and wants to please his people. When I wag my tail, my body shakes and it brings smiles and laughter to those around me. I enjoy toys, back rubs and cuddling. I'm usually a quiet, reserved guy who doesn’t cause trouble. Couches are great. I can be afraid of noises and new things but I am learning to understand and trust my world. I know the sit and come commands. This Minnesota weather has been a challenge for me and am looking forward to warmer weather. I would benefit from obedience training (I am still a puppy at heart).
