Just by looking at her picture you can see how sweet of a dog she is but her silly personality can’t be caught on film, only in person. Debra could give Mickey’s friend Goofy a run for his name, especially when she gets a little clumsy (as can happen to the best of us). But Debra isn’t just a goofy dog. She’s also happy-go-lucky in her demeanor. She is a little anxious but is quickly getting used to her current foster home. She is also learning how to ring bells to tell her family that she needs to go outside! You don’t see Goofy doing that now, do you? Debra is also great with other pets and gets along with all the dogs and cats at her current foster home. Location: Minneapolis, MN Ralph is learning what it is to be an indoor & outdoor doggo. We are working on potty training, crate training & walking. He walks well in the yard on a leash but on the street, that's still a little too scary. He is very laid back and happy to be in your presence. He doesn't need to be in your space and enjoys chew toys. Location: St Paul, MN Crag is such a sweet and playful dog! He loves following other dogs around and enjoy playing with his toys. Craig will take some time to warm up to people but having another dog in the home will definitely help speed up the process. He is extremely food and treat motivated. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Whimsy found himself unwanted and in a high kill shelter in West Texas.  He is good with other dogs, and people, but cats are unknown. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. He may start out skittish, but once he chooses his person, he becomes a loyal little shadow who wants nothing more than to be close. Rigel tends to feel more comfortable around women and can be unsure of men at first, sometimes barking or growling when he’s nervous. With consistency and calm reassurance, he settles and has even been known to curl up next to his foster dad once he feels safe. Now that he’s gaining confidence, Rigel is beginning to show his playful side. He loves small stuffed toys, nightly chew sessions with bully sticks or pig ears, and cuddling on the couch or in bed. He enjoys being out and about as long as his trusted person is right beside him, and he rides quietly in the car. Rigel does best with another dog in the home—preferably one similar in size—who can help him continue learning how to be a confident house dog. He has lived with cats and done well, and he gets along with most dogs, though he avoids pushy or cantankerous personalities. A fenced yard is important for him, as he loves the freedom to explore safely. Potty training is coming along nicely with a schedule, and he knows cues like “outside” and “go potty.” Crates are not his favorite and he takes time to settle, but he does well when riding in one in the car. Rigel is a sweet, intelligent little dog who blossoms with patience. Once he bonds, he is affectionate, cuddly, and devoted. He will thrive in a calm home with considerate older kids or adults, a gentle canine companion, and someone willing to give him the time he needs to trust. He’s still learning what this whole “living indoors with humans” thing is all about, so he approaches the world with gentle caution, as if everything might suddenly ask him to file a tax return. But every day he gets a little braver, and his foster family is cheering from the sidelines as he discovers that laps are warm, couches are safe, and belly-up invitations lead to snuggles, not doom. When he’s not curled up like a perfectly toasted croissant in a fluffy bed, Boston can usually be found playing with his small dog buddies. In fact, other dogs are his comfort crew, his emotional support squad, and his favorite teachers in everything from playtime etiquette to “how to steal the good nap spot.” Although he would love a home with another small dog in his forever home, so long as his humans are home most of the time, he is okay as an only pup.   Boston is an excellent car rider, a respectful crate napper, and a timid explorer who prefers to observe new people from a safe distance before deciding they might be acceptable treat dispensers.
