Meet Grover, the zippiest, happiest little DOODLE you’ll ever meet! Grover is about a 30-pound bundle of pure joy and high-energy fun. If you're looking for a pup who can brighten even the gloomiest day, this little guy is your match. He loves everyone he meets , people, dogs, probably the mailman too, and he greets each new friend with a tail wag that could power a small city. This fluffy goofball is a zoomies champion, turning any open space into his personal racetrack. Whether it’s laps around the yard or joyful spins around the living room, Grover lives for movement and play. And when he’s not zooming? He’s happily soaking up scratches, cuddling close, or squeaking his favorite toys until he’s ready for round two. Grover will require lifetime grooming to keep up with his beautiful doodle hair, so his future family should be ready for recurring grooming appointments to keep him comfortable and looking his best. Grover would thrive in an active home where he can stretch his legs, play to his heart’s content, and share his endless happiness with his humans. If you’re ready for a fun, friendly, and unbelievably lovable companion, Grover can’t wait to meet you! He’s ready to zoom straight into your heart. Local adoption fee is $350(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hi! My name is Amelie and I'm from Arkansas Hi ! My name is Amelie (A-mel-lee) and I am from Arkansas. My foster says the following about me: I am as SWEET as SWEET can be. I love attention, getting in your face, sitting beside you for pets, and I especially like sleeping beside you. I do not mind having a bath or getting my nails clipped (at least not too much), and I do not shed. She says I am pretty smart as I learned how to use her doggy door immediately; I know my name and come when called; I know how to sit and stay (a little shaky on the stay). I am not good on the leash but we are going to work on that. I also have a habit of jumping up on humans, which I am told is a big fat “off”—but sometimes I don’t listen. My favorite thing is going to dog parks because I love to run and get chased by other dogs and I just plain like exercise. My foster believes this is helping with my anxiety, therefore she takes me every single day. I also like being with my resident brother—he lets me play with him, sit on him and even lick him. I am not crate trained and do not like being in a crate; but when my foster goes to work, I have to be crated as my anxiety causes me to chew on things that I am not supposed to chew. She says it is important for me to be in a home with someone who works from home, or is retired as I do not like being alone. I guess this anxiety-thing may have something to do with my past. Amelie is a smart and athletic dog, and she has found ways to get out of a fenced in yard, seemingly by jumping the four foot barrier. She has great recall in these situations, but she enjoys seeing what's out there! Supervised outdoor time, or additional measures to keep her secure and safe. And finally, my foster says I have a lot of puppy in me and believes I will make a great companion as I get older. I guess this means she likes me J.

Story
Location: Faribault, MN Cici is an adorable little pup! She is very sweet and obedient. She comes and follows when you call her and will jump up into a soft comfy bed on the couch. She goes into a crate when you point and tell her to go in. She also does her business outdoors and has had zero accidents in her foster home. She walks well on a leash. Cici has been around children aged 7 months to 15 years. She does not mind any of them. When it comes to other dogs, she is VERY spicy if the dog is bigger than her. If the dog is her size or smaller she will play all day. Her foster mom feels like she would be perfect as the only dog in the house or in a home with another pup that is either her size or smaller. Cici is showing signs of being able to coexist with other dogs bigger than her with extremely slow intros. She also does great with all the cats she has been exposed to! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

These pups are in Minneapolis, Minnesota too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Bitsy is a soft-hearted mini poodle with a gentle spirit and a quiet charm. Weighing around 15 pounds and estimated to be about 3 and a half years old, Bitsy is soaking up the comfort of a calm, safe home—something she may be experiencing for the first time. She’s incredibly well-mannered and has had perfect potty habits from the start, always going outside when carried to the yard. While she’s still gaining confidence, Bitsy is already showing signs of trust, happily resting in her cozy bed and allowing gentle handling, even during bath time. She’s not quite sure what to make of toys or treats just yet, but every day she’s learning and observing. Bitsy gets along with calm, respectful dogs, though she would likely prefer a peaceful home where she can be the center of someone’s quiet world or share space with a gentle canine companion. She hasn’t had much experience with leashes or exploring new environments, so a fenced yard is a must while she continues to build confidence. What Bitsy lacks in boldness, she makes up for in sweetness. She’s a soft, soulful girl who is ready to bond with someone patient and loving. With a little time and a lot of love, Bitsy will absolutely bloom into the loyal, affectionate companion she was always meant to be. Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there*** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Meet Rigel, a sweet and sensitive Miniature Poodle who’s looking for a soft place to land. At 14 pounds and 13 inches tall, he’s the perfect size for lap cuddles—and once he trusts you, he’ll happily claim that spot! Rigel is low-to-moderate energy, low-shedding, and very big on love once he feels safe. Rigel is still learning that the world isn’t so scary. He’s shy and skittish at first, especially around men or anyone standing nearby. He’s most comfortable with women and prefers calm, quiet environments where he can build trust at his own pace. But if you’re patient, Rigel will reward you tenfold with affection, snuggles, and a sweet little paw to your hand asking for more love. He especially enjoys lounging in a cozy dog bed, following his person around the house, and curling up next to you in bed (he’s a pro with the dog ramp!). Rigel gets along beautifully with other respectful dogs and even cats. He’s starting to play with his foster siblings and would thrive in a home with another confident, friendly dog to show him the ropes. He’s not fully potty trained yet, and leash walks are still a work in progress, so a fenced yard is a must—especially since he’s nervous about doorways and can be a bit of a flight risk. He’s come a long way already, bravely running out to the yard on his own and returning like a champ. While crates aren’t his favorite (he’ll bark and need time to settle), Rigel has done very well with free roam of the house, showing no signs of destructive behavior. He’s a smart boy and will blossom with gentle guidance, consistent routines, and lots of love. Rigel isn’t the kind of dog who’ll greet you with wild enthusiasm on day one—but give him time, and you’ll discover a loyal little shadow who just wants to be close, feel safe, and love you deeply. If you have a calm home, a dog buddy, and a heart for helping shy dogs bloom, Rigel might just be your perfect match! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.  Boston is a tiny five-pound gentleman who has perfected the art of quiet living, cozy lounging, and mysteriously appearing in the softest dog bed in the house. He’s still learning what this whole “living indoors with humans” thing is all about, so he approaches the world with gentle caution, as if everything might suddenly ask him to file a tax return. But every day he gets a little braver, and his foster family is cheering from the sidelines as he discovers that laps are warm, couches are safe, and belly-up invitations lead to snuggles, not doom. When he’s not curled up like a perfectly toasted croissant in a fluffy bed, Boston can usually be found playing with his small dog buddies. In fact, other dogs are his comfort crew, his emotional support squad, and his favorite teachers in everything from playtime etiquette to “how to steal the good nap spot.” Although he would love a home with another small dog in his forever home, so long as his humans are home most of the time, he is okay as an only pup.   Boston is an excellent car rider, a respectful crate napper, and a timid explorer who prefers to observe new people from a safe distance before deciding they might be acceptable treat dispensers. He’s potty trained, but he needs a fenced yard because leashes are still confusing, and he thinks the great outdoors is best enjoyed from a secure space where he can toddle around without any surprises. This little man has already come so far. In the evenings, he climbs onto the couch, sits with his foster people, and even offers a tiny invitation to be picked up. He may be shy, but he is overflowing with sweetness, curiosity, and quiet charm. Boston is truly a gentle soul who just needs someone patient enough to let him bloom at his own pace. Whoever adopts him is getting a hidden treasure with the softest heart and the most endearing little spirit.
