Story
Toast is perhaps the sweetest and most handsome little puppy to end up in a parking lot this year. This 8# 4-5 month Schnoodle (possible miniature poodle/schnauzer mix) was found in the Rolling Oaks parking lot. His hair was dirty and matted and he was exhausted. After a nice spa treatment, some tender loving care and a few good meals he has blossomed into a sweet puppy. He is smart, very comfortable with people, and gets along with the foster’s dogs and is not aggressive toward the cats but curious. He is working on housebreaking and doing exceptionally well. He tolerates kenneling. Toast will certainly love to have another 4-legged friend and being the smart guy that he is, and if enrolled in a Training Class he would likely be the Valedictorian. Toast’s adoption fee is $350 and includes neuter, microchip vaccinations, worming and a vet evaluation. Dottie is a tenderhearted 5-6 -year-old who weighs just 11 pounds. She is Heartworm negative and we are currently waiting on her Chagas results and should have them back by 12/15. She’s a little shy at first, but once she knows you’re kind, her heart opens wide. She craves gentle affection and will blossom in a patient, calm home where she feels safe. Coming from a background where she likely taken care of, she just needs time and love to learn that she’s finally home. Dottie gets along well with other dogs here at the rescue and loves people.
