Meet Elliott, a 9-year-old gentlemanly Sheepadoodle weighing about 45 pounds. Elliott is the definition of an easy companion—he walks beautifully on a leash, rides calmly in the car, is comfortable in a crate, and is fully house-trained. Elliott has only known one family his entire life, and being owner-surrendered, his world has been turned upside down. Despite the big change, he remains a sweet, loving soul who just wants to be near his people. He’s looking for a soft landing where he can spend his golden years enjoying belly rubs, cozy naps, and cuddling up next to a forever family. If you’re searching for a calm, affectionate companion who will fit seamlessly into your life and heart, Elliott is ready to meet you. If you’re ready for a meet and greet, kick off the process with an application at www.flyingbrescue.org/adopt. Our application is thorough but there are no right or wrong answers - we just want to make sure you and the pet are the perfect match. Once we receive your application, we will schedule a phone interview. Our adoptions include a 2-week trial period with fully refundable adoption fees during that period. If you are located outside of Texas, we offer transportation services and have happy families as references. We value transparency, so don’t be afraid to ask us anything.

Story
Bella was born on 12/23/2019, she was given to me by an old friend. She has had her first 2 sets of shots, unfortunately it has not been financially easy to care for her anymore. I have tried to support her for as many years as I could but it has been too difficult with unexpected hardships. Bella is a good dog overall, she tends to bark at strangers and runs after them if she is not on a leash, but she has never bit anyone thus far. She is very attentive to adults and teens that give her plenty of attention. She is great with other dogs and cats, and younger children, in her home that are not a threat to her. Loves cuddles and play time but needs someone who can give her the proper attention. She enjoys swimming in lakes as well.

Story
Comet was being Euthanized by his owners, he was with one family 8 years. When they moved from a house to an apartment he became anxious and not when trying to get him from under the bed. Comet has been in my house ever since while I try to find him a new home. He's been through behavioral training and would do best in a home with not other pets, he is a very young 8 year old and having a nice walk everyday keeps him healthy and happy. He enjoys chasing squirrels and acting like a dog. He's actually a great protector and would do great with an active owner . He is neutered,microchipped, UTD on shots and on HW and flea prevention.
