Story
3Step is proof that the best things come in balanced packages. He's playful but cuddly, energetic but settles easily, a little shy at first but warms up fast. He loves his toys, loves his humans, and loves other dogs (especially sleeping pressed right up against his foster brother at the end of the day). He's just a happy, social guy who does best when he's got a crew. Potty training is mostly there. He does great on a routine and is just starting to ask to go out on his own! He has the occasional overnight accident, but he's getting it. Consistency is his best friend right now. While he has shown some resource guarding toward one specific dog in the foster home, he hasn’t shown it toward any of the other dogs or humans. Worth keeping in mind, but it hasn't been a pattern beyond that…he just has some beef with this guy for some (peculiar) reason. 3Step would thrive in a multi-dog home where he can have a buddy to play with, sleep next to, and generally do life alongside. -----

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.

Story
Tago didn’t understand much about the world, but he understood love. He had loved his family with every wag of his tail, every goofy grin, every warm snuggle he offered on quiet evenings. He thought love was forever. So the day his parents packed his toys into a small box and drove him to the rescue, Tago tried his best to be brave. He sat politely. He didn’t bark. He kept looking up at them, hoping for a smile, a pat, a sign that this was just a strange adventure. But they didn’t look back. When the door closed behind them, Tago’s little heart cracked. He curled up in the corner of his kennel, confused and quiet, wondering what he had done wrong. That’s when the rescue volunteers noticed him — really noticed him. They saw the sadness in his eyes, the way he pressed his face into their hands as if trying to memorize kindness. They whispered to him, “You’re safe now, Tago. We’ve got you.” And slowly, Tago began to bloom. He learned that people could be gentle. He learned that treats come from hands that care. He learned that walks mean adventure, not goodbye. His tail started wagging again — first small, then big, joyful helicopter spins that made everyone laugh. He discovered squeaky toys, belly rubs, and the magic of being truly seen. Now Tago is ready for his next chapter. He’s looking for a family who won’t give up on him. A family who understands that loyalty is a two‑way street. A family who will cherish his goofy smile, his soft snuggles, and his enormous heart. Tago isn’t broken. He’s brave. He’s hopeful. And he’s waiting for the person who will finally say, “Welcome home.”
