Story
Adorable April is a little over 4mo and she weighs 12lbs. We expect her to be 18-20lbs when full grown. She is a very happy, social puppy that would love to have a socially active home. She is very playful and will try to engage in play with any person or other animal. Another dog in the home would be ideal. If everyone is busy, she will happily self entertain by running, pouncing, and tossing her toys into the air. She seems to be very happy when she has a pile of stuffies to choose from. April also enjoys running around outside and exploring everything around her, so she would do best with a fenced yard. She is very smart and is already learning great leash manners. She is also crate trained and if you have a bell at the door to ring, she will gladly ring the bell to let you know she needs to go outside for a potty break. She is a wonderful, sturdy size girl so when she gets older, she’ll be a great hiking partner. She has a gentle temperament so she would also be a great addition to a home with kids over 6yrs old. April is a quiet girl so with a little more training, she would even be a perfect companion for a dog friendly office.  If you are interested in meeting Miss April please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone number.April 24, 2024, 11:50 am

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org My name is Lily Syd from Mexico and I am a wonderful approx. 1 year old female Cairn Terrier.  I am approx. 5 lbs., a sweet, loving, fun and playful dog.  I am a very happy dog and so excited to find my forever home soon.  Mexico is so overloaded with dogs roaming all over the streets with no food, love or care.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to come to Seattle to find a new forever home!  Take me on car rides, walks in the park and I will become your very best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, other dogs but have not been around cats before.  I will do best in a home with a loving family that can give me lots of exercise, love and affection!  Our pet rescue dog trainer would be happy to come to your home and help train with your new dog and this is highly recommended. My adoption fee of $1,495. covers Spay/Neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordatella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Grooming, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate, and transport cost from MEXICO to SEA TTLE.  The adoption fee is firm and helps cover the medical expenses of our other rescue dogs in need.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  The adoption fee is donated to the rescue and is tax deductible.   Please e-mail  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application.
