Story
Dayna has osteochondrodysplasia, a condition affecting cartilage formation. Scottish Fold cats with this disease have a dominant gene mutation altering type II collagen production. This has caused her to have a thick, inflexible tail and some limb deformities. She experiences chronic pain and arthritis, which are managed with medication.

Spicy is still adjusting to life at the rescue, and while he can be a little unsure at first, he’s coming out of his shell more every day. There’s no sass here—just a shy boy learning that the world isn’t so scary when there are gentle voices, cozy blankets, and kind hands. He’s not one to demand the spotlight, but give him some time and patience, and you’ll start to see him seeking out affection and leaning into love. Watching him grow more confident is incredibly rewarding—he’s the kind of cat who will make you feel like a hero just for showing up. If you’re someone who values quiet companionship and the joy of watching a shy soul blossom, Spicy might just be your perfect match. Submit an adoption application at: www.wtfarmtn.org
