MEET WINSTON! *Special Needs* Can you believe this creature isn't AI? Meet Winston, a 10 month old Scottish Straight kitten (a breed similar to the Scottish Fold but with upright ears). He was surrendered to the rescue due to a senior cat in his home not adjusting well to his kitten shenanigans. Since joining the rescue, we’ve done a full veterinary workup to diagnose a heart defect. This sweet boy is quite a catch, but does have some medical needs his future family should consider. In most ways, Winston is your typical goofy kitten! He’s medium-energy, an excellent snuggler and never shies away from a cuddle session. He loves to be held like a baby and will follow you while you’re working around the house, chatting and chirping along the way. Along with his bold looks, Winston has a bold personality. He is currently in foster care with a dog and other cats but doesn’t back down from putting the dog in her place. Most cats seem to find him inappropriately forward in his interactions. We think Winston would do best in a home without other animals where he doesn’t feel like he needs to compete for space or attention. Winston has a beautiful long coat which will require some maintenance and brushing to avoid matting. Winston has a 4/5 heart murmur, an abnormally formed heart valve, thickened heart muscle and something called Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy (HOCM). HOCM is a genetic heart condition where the muscle becomes abnormally thick and stiff, often obstructing blood flow from the left ventricle. This reduces the heart's efficiency, making it harder to pump blood effectively, and can lead to complications like congestive heart failure, blood clots (aortic thromboembolism), and sudden death. Many affected cats show no symptoms for years, with signs often appearing suddenly and seriously. Winston is currently exhibiting no signs of cardiac stress but will require follow ups with a cardiologist to monitor his condition, especially should he need anesthesia. Winston was neutered prior to coming to the rescue. He is vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. He is available for adoption through our Kyle’s Cats Fund. She is a Scottish straight fold cat. She is very friendly once she trust you. She will come and sit in your lap. I took her in because she was abandoned in an apartment day and night. It caused her to her be very scared around people. But once she truly feels comfortable she is such a beautiful and friendly cat. She loves sleeping in your lap and head scratches.Daisy is 2 1/2 years old. She is microchipped, spayed and shots are up to date. She is an indoor cat.

These 2 came to us over the summer with their mom & 2 siblings - mom was a pet who was returned once the babies were weaned & she was spayed & the other 2 did not survive. Dewey - is a girl, for the first 2 months we thought her back fluff was something else! 😑 Dewey is a firecracker who loves to play rough with the boys! She will run & divebomb all of the other cats without a second thought and has no problem inviting herself with whoever she wants to whenever she wants to & she has such a sweet and affectionate side with her human friends. Louie - the sweetest, most gentle, softest little gremlin to ever exist! Louie is an absolute dream who adores humans and sleeps on my pillow every single night. All you need to do is look at him and he’ll start to purr and he has no problem being held & cuddled like a baby. Honestly these 2 have been an absolute dream to raise and the thought of giving them up makes me tear up, but it’s time & this is the goal! They are around 5 months old & MUST be adopted together (no exceptions). *While they may be fun to look at, genetically their litter was a mess so we are looking for an adopter who is willing and able to deal with inevitable genetic issues that may come up throughout their lives. The parents are siblings. Louie is an identical the mama & the father looked like a traditional Scottish fold and we don’t know where Dewey & all her fluff & tuft came from! The runt was Squeaks and she lived to be about 5 weeks old but never grew past the size of a 2 weeker. Huey was their sibling who looked like a Scottish fold & passed very suddenly from some type of spontaneous rupture around 9 weeks. He was playing one minute & gone the next so they need an adopter willing to be diligent about their health and get them the vet care they need if issues arise.* I was petrified to put these 2 under anesthesia knowing they could be at a higher risk due to their inbred genetics but they did just fine & are now fixed, UTD on vaccines, FIV/FeLV negative, & ready to go! Cat-Friendly!!  Cutie-pie alert! Dunkin is a 6-7 months old (as of April 2026) kitty who is gentle and sweet. He makes the cutest little trills that make him sound like an adorable little birdie. It’s so heartwarming. He’s playful and fun. He LOVES chasing after his toys. He’s great with other cats. He’d love a kitty sibling he could run around and play with. He’s a little cautious with new people so a patient adopter would be best- someone who knows that some cats take a little time to gain trust.
