You can email us at acatsfriendinc@gmail.com if you have questions, but if you would like to be considered for adoption, you must fill out an application. Please note if you are applying for a kitten under six months of age, you must have another friendly kitty in the home or adopt another kitten. Additionally, unless otherwise indicted that this animal is a purebred, all of our animals are rescues and the "breed" selection is a best guess based on their apperance as we have no way of knowing their specific breeds.  Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. Nyx is 1 years old, she’s super friendly and playful but shy when it comes to meeting new people. It took about a week and a half for her to get comfortable with me after adopting her, and she doesn’t really let anyone else touch her but me but she isn’t aggressive in anyway, she’d just runaway and hide or curl up in a ball if you’re a stranger. She loves to play with other cats and so I would love it if you have another cat at home for this reason, though it’s not necessary(if there is another cat, she’s more likely to get comfortable faster. She loves seeing other cats and wanting to play.) She’s a very chaotic, cuddly, and a smart little girl.
