He still prefers you to get down on his level (yes, literally on the ground) before he’s comfortable enough to play with you. But once he warms up? Oh, this boy is ALL about the love.   He’s gotten pretty comfortable with being scooped up, smothered in kisses, held, and even snuggles up on your lap while you work from home. He’s curious, a little timid, and secretly a total genius.   Did I mention he plays FETCH?! This boy could play for HOURS if you keep throwing his favorite fuzzy balls. Sometimes he even tries to bring two balls back at once because, apparently, one just isn't enough. Biblical greed, honestly.    Lo’ak is the kind of guy who just needs a little time, patience, and someone willing to meet him where he is. She does have some patches of white - her little white locket. She is a sweet girl who loves to be brushed (that glorious fur) and looks forward to head scratches and snuggles from her foster. One of her favorite ways to show that she likes and trusts you is to allow you to hold her on her back, nestled in your arms. She does like to play with toys but prefers just sitting and gazing at the world. Jaxie gave birth to her 3 beautiful kittens (March 2026) while in Animal Control. The kittens thrived under her care and they have all been adopted. Jaxie had to stay back a while because she had to have some vet care after her spay...but she has been cleared by the vet now. Despite all of her vet visits, Jaxie has retained her darling ways. Jaxie is ready for her new life as a family member in a home!
