Story
Blackie is a wonderful young Scottish Fold we are thrilled to have in our rescue. She was abandoned and left by herself. Blackie came to us with a scarred right eye from an untreated eye injury. We took her to the veterinary ophthalmologist for evaluation. It was determined through testing that Blackie could not see well in her right eye. So that she has the best quality of life we opted for surgery on her eye. Now she has excellent vision. No further treatment necessary. She is the sweetest young Scottish Fold. Gets along beautifully with the other foster cats. We would like to see Blackie in a home experienced with the Scottish Fold breed. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Story
This handsome 17-lb gentleman is about 9 years old and full of personality. Stirling started life as an abandoned community cat, where a severe ear mite infection led to so much scratching that his ear cartilage became damaged, leaving him with his signature crinkled ears. It's part of what makes him so distinct looking. Chatty and confident, Stirling loves to talk (including making a proud announcement every time he poops--he's not shy about his accomplishments), and kinda sounds like a crow. He's a total foodie and would love a bestie to share mealtimes with. He eats soft food after having 10 teeth extracted, so he's all about easy chewing these days. He's medium energy and playful when the mood strikes, but just as happy to settle in for a long TV session on the couch. Sweet, friendly, and easygoing, Stirling is looking for a relaxed home where he can be the center of attention and enjoy good food and good company.

Story
Meet Oso! Oso is a wonderful, playful boy who is looking for a forever family to call his own. Full of personality and charm, Oso's favorite things in life are chasing a ball, batting around a piece of string, and then settling down beside his favorite person for a well-earned cuddle. This handsome guy is incredibly social and loves to 'talk.' Oso is constantly trilling, chirping, and carrying on conversations with both humans and feline friends. If he's looking for attention or trying to convince someone to play, you'll definitely hear about it! Oso is an active cat who enjoys interactive play and would do best with a playful feline companion. Having spent part of his life outdoors, he can sometimes get a little enthusiastic during playtime, so he needs a confident cat friend who enjoys companionship and can set clear boundaries when needed. When Oso finds a buddy he clicks with, the two can entertain each other for hours. After an exciting play session, Oso appreciates having some quiet time to decompress before he's ready for more fun. He also loves the simple pleasures in life—stretching out in a sunny spot, exploring cardboard boxes, and curling up beside his people for a nap. Oso does not get along with dogs and would be happiest either as an only pet receiving plenty of attention or in a home with a compatible feline companion. Healthy, affectionate, and full of life, Oso is ready to leave his outdoor days behind and become someone's cherished lifelong companion. If you're looking for a playful, loving cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Oso may be the perfect match for you. Story
Peter and Asher were lucky boys to end up at MeowTown when they were surrendered.  They were found as kittens in a box at a job site and the family brought them home however 2 years later their situation changed and they needed to surrender them to a rescue they trusted. MeowTown seemed the perfect place for them since they're good with people, cats, and dogs.  Initially they were very shy in the new place but when a hand went out to pet them, they gladly accepted the love that was being given as they wait for their new family.  Despite their shyness, once they warm up, they become the most affectionate companions. Their gentle demeanor makes them perfect for a calm and loving home. Adopting Peter and Asher means giving them a chance to thrive together in a nurturing environment where they can continue to share their boundless love. Bonded pair adoption fee $300, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Meet Apollo – Your Future Best Friend Is Waiting! Apollo is a handsome young gentleman with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Through no fault of his own, he was surrendered to a shelter after his family lost their home. While losing everything he knew was heartbreaking, Apollo hasn't lost his love for people or his cheerful spirit. If you're looking for a cat who truly wants to be part of your life, Apollo is your guy! He's wonderfully vocal and isn't shy about telling you when it's time for breakfast, playtime, or simply when he'd like a little extra attention. He loves being with his people and thrives on affection and companionship. Apollo is also a playful boy who can turn almost anything into a game. Wand toys, laser pointers, balls, catnip mice—you name it, he's ready to chase it! After a good play session, you'll often find him perched high on his favorite cat tree, stretching out and surveying his kingdom like a wise old owl. One of Apollo's favorite activities is birdwatching. Give him a sunny window, and he'll happily spend hours chirping at birds, squirrels, and anything else that catches his eye. A tall cat tree by the window is at the top of his wish list! Apollo gets along well with other cats and respectful children, making him a wonderful addition to many families. More than anything, though, he needs a home where he'll be included, loved, and given plenty of attention. He isn't the kind of cat who wants to be ignored—he wants to be your companion, your greeter, your conversation partner, and your best friend. If your home could use a little more laughter, a little more conversation, and a whole lot of love, Apollo is ready to fill it. All he's waiting for is someone to give him the forever home he deserves.   Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
