Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com I am a gorgeous chocolate girl who absolutely loves people - there is nothing better than being cuddled and held! I am very outgoing and calm and get comfortable with new situations fairly quickly. I love to play with feather wands or pretty much anything I can chase. I am very quiet except for my loud rumbly purr when I am being petted. I would do best having a kitty companion as I am very social and like having company all of the time. Hint, hint: my sibling Nutella who lives in another foster home is also looking to adopt his new family. Can you imagine having a pair of sweet chocolate kittens in your home? It doesn't get any better than that!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214-454-9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Story
Meet Brownie. This gorgeous girl is a three-year-old, medium-haired tortoiseshell with the softest fur and the most soulful eyes. She’s a big, fluffy beauty who turns heads wherever she goes — but it’s her gentle heart that truly makes her special. She was adopted a couple of years ago but recently returned when she and the other cat in the home (her littermate) just couldn’t find harmony. Sometimes even family doesn’t mean “best fit,” and that’s okay — it simply helped us learn what she truly needs to thrive. She’s a shy, quiet soul who blossoms with patience. Once she feels safe, she shows her affection on her terms — sweet, calm companionship, soft purrs, and a steady presence by your side. She’s not demanding or loud, just beautifully content sharing space with someone who understands that trust takes time. This lovely girl would do best as the only pet in the home, where she can be the center of attention without competition. A calm household with older children would suit her well, as she appreciates gentle interactions and predictable routines. She has excellent litter box manners, is fully vetted, microchipped, and ready for her next chapter — one filled with kindness, understanding, and love. If you’re looking for a peaceful, devoted companion who will reward your patience with quiet affection and unwavering loyalty, this pretty tortie may be the one your heart has been waiting for.

Story
My name is Shadow. I'm a gorgeous black (panther) house cat.  At first, I might seem a little shy, but once I settle in and get to know you,  I'm great fun.  I love to play, explore, treats, and hanging out with my cat friends .  I would love to be adopted with my sibling Luna... or to a family with another friendly kitty cat.   I do have a small amount of thinned hair. The vet says it is part of me recovering from a skin infection, which I was already treated for.   Do I sound like the perfect fit for your family? I have my vetting done!  I have been spayed, had my vaccinations, tested for FIV/FELV, preventative flea & dewormer, and I'm microchipped. So, what are you waiting for? If you'd like to meet me,  fill out an application . There is no obligation, it just starts the conversation.   Approx DOB 07/26/2024   Did you know?  Every  Saturday & Sunday  Frisco Humane Society has  Adopt-A-Pet  events at  PetSmart  at 3333 Preston Road, Frisco, TX. Story
We got Maisy when she was two years old from a shelter. We had just lost our two cats to illness and she was the only cat at the shelter that day. She was very vocal and we knew we needed to take her home. She is a sweet, snuggly girl. Unfortunately our infant is allergic and we have to find her a new loving home.

Story
All of our cats are current on vaccines, combo tested (FIV/FELV) , spayed/neutered, microchipped, given rabies vaccine as age appropriate, flea treatment and dewormer as needed   Meet Sebastian!  The great!! Sebastian came to us as a very scared little kitten who wasn’t comfortable with people or much of anything in the world except other cats. While in foster care, he has blossomed into a complete lovebug. He is the type of cat who will follow you around for attention and absolutely loves being petted. However, he gets so excited about getting love that he prefers to walk around you while you’re petting him rather than being held. He’s also quite clumsy for a cat, so it’s often up to the person to ensure he doesn’t fall off whatever he’s on! When greeting other cats, Sebastian doesn’t just do the polite sniff and say hello; he runs his whole body against their face, nose to butt, before continuing on with his day. He loves (or attempts to love) every other cat he meets and has even helped some of our less cat-friendly fosters start accepting other cats in their space. Sebastian is very bonded to one of our other fosters, Sepia, so we will only be adopting the two out together. When Sepia was out of the house for a few days, even with plenty of other cats to play with, Sebastian spent the entire time lying in one of her favorite sleep spots. He didn’t even get up for wet food, and he’s usually one of the first ones waiting in line for breakfast and dinner. If he wakes up and isn’t sure where Sepia is, he starts making sad, lost kitten mews. System ID: HFL-101-22 (AW) Date of Birth: 7/24/21 If you think you could provide a loving home for both Sebastian and Sepia, please reach out and give these bonded buddies the forever home they deserve.
