Story
Benji is a sweet little guy with a gentle soul. He can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience, his loving personality quickly shines through. Before coming to the rescue, Benji lived life outdoors and had some hair loss, but now he’s on the mend—his scruffy coat is growing back in, and it just adds to his charm! He’s currently learning all the good stuff about being a spoiled house pup, like walking on a leash and discovering how amazing beds and toys can be. If you have a soft spot for scruffy, adorable boys and a heart for helping a pup continue to blossom, Benji is ready to find his forever home and be your loyal little companion Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $600 (includes transport to your area)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Earl – A Boy Worth Saving Earl was once in a beloved family, living a happy life with an owner who adored him. Sadly, his owner developed serious health issues and passed away, leaving no one able to care for him. Through no fault of his own, this grieving dog ended up at a local animal control facility with his sister Marley that was forced to euthanize for space. His story broke hearts across the internet—and ours too. They are wonderful dogs who love people, get along well with other dogs, and are exceptionally well-trained. They simply want a soft place to land and a family to love again. Both Marley and Earl are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. If you'd like to give this deserving duo the second chance they need, apply today at www.adoggie4you.org. Adoption fee if adopted as a pair is $400 if just adopting Earl is $300 They are currently located in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, Kentucky, and locations along the East Coast for an additional $225 transport fee. We are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 19, 2026, 3:48 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi.  My name is Lilly and I am a special girl.  I came to A Doggie 4 You as a feral girl in 2018.  I was trapped on the streets of San Antonio.   When I went to the vet they determined I had heartworms.  I thought I was a goner, but the nice people at the rescue treated me like I was part of a real family.  They treated my heartworms and now I don't have them anymore.  They even put me on a yearly heartworm preventative called ProHeart 12.  The people at the rescue didn't have a clue what my breed was, so they took my picture and ran it through something they call a program.  It said I am Berger Picard  81% and Scottish Terrier 12%.   I was a real little stinker when I got here.  You see I had never been  handled before and I didn't know what kindness was.  It's not easy living on the streets.  Not everyone is nice.  It took awhile, but I learned to trust the gang here at the rescue.  I love going to the play yard with all of my friends and playing.  We get to play twice a day in a large group of over 30 dogs.  The rest of the time I get to live with my doggie family.  I even learned to use a doggy door.  I let my foster momma groom me when my hair gets unruly.  I even tolerate the bath.   I am going to need a family that will go slow with me and let me get to know you.  I have a lot of love to give but I have trust issues.  If you would like to give a girl like me a good home, you can apply for  me at www.adoggie4you.org.  I was born around 05/30/2016 and I currently weigh 27.8 pounds.   I am only available in Texas.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 19, 2026, 3:48 pm
