Story
Dozer is currently the shelter`s longest resident without having a break from the shelter and we are amazed by his humble and happy spirit. Dozer has a great personality and is so much fun to get to know. Dozer is by far one of the smartest dogs we have in shelter! He knows MANY cues and always gives people a good laugh when showing them all off. Our favorite cues he knows are “high five” and “speak”! He does know all of the basic cues and is currently working on “roll over”. Additionally, Dozer is potty trained, crate trained and he does walk well on a leash, but he may need a moment to get all of his excitement out! He loves to be praised and is eager to please his people. Dozer loves to play and will even play by himself when alone. His favorite toys have been anything with a great squeaker! Dozer was surrendered because his family’s schedule was too busy for him. Dozer is a dog who loves enrichment and will be happiest with regular exercise! This does not have to mean running miles each day - playtime that includes his people and toys make him happy too! Dozer comes from a BIG family that had many children and he did great with them. He is gentle, snuggly and loyal. Dozer is a social butterfly and has yet to meet someone he doesn’t like! Dozer is said to do well with other dogs and enjoys playing. With spending much time in the shelter Dozer has grown impatient towards rambunctious dogs though. We can always provide a dog meet and greet and we know Dozer would appreciate having a proper introduction! In his previous home Dozer was very curious of the kitties and though he never harmed them he would chase them. So that Dozer can thrive in his new home he should not be adopted into a home with small animals! Please know that Dozer has spent a month in the shelter and will need time to decompress in his new home.Dozer deserves to find his forever home. We adore him and truly believe that he is a terrific dog. If you do decide to meet Dozer, we know you’ll adore him too!

Story
Little Bit was left in the shelter`s night drop with no information regarding her background. We know she lived with other dogs before and she tries to play with the other dogs in the shelter! She may enjoy having a nice friend to play with and we can always accommodate a dog meet and greet if needed! Little Bit is very sweet and affectionate. She is always so wiggly and happy to see her friends! She is super cute and fun sized - Little Girl is about 30 lbs and we do not anticipate her getting much bigger. Little Bit may be a little shy when first meeting new people but typically warms up quickly. Little Bit has medium energy and enjoys taking slow walks outside and is learning how to play with toys! Little Bit knows the cues `sit` and `down` and walks mostly well on a leash, but she can get a little carried away with her wiggle butt! She may be potty trained, but is having a hard time with not having a more regular routine. Please keep in mind that she will need time to adapt to her new home! It is unknown if Little Bit has lived with children so we do encourage adopters to bring their little ones with them when they come to meet her. If Little Bit sounds like the right pup for you we would love for you to come by and meet her!
