HI - I'M JULIE! I'm a sweet 9-year-old Shar Pei/Staffie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I've been waiting for awhile for a home and that's a bit sad, but I'm still hopeful my person or people will come along. I only weigh about 52 lbs and am an affectionate snuggle bug. I prefer to be the only dog in the home and prefer people to dogs so would do best with a single person, a couple or a family with older kids. I'm not a fan of cats either, so no kitties for me please. I am in great athletic shape and still love to go for walks and hikes. And I love the water! I also love the fresh air and the feeling of the sunshine on my back. Could you give me a chance and foster or adopt me?

I'm initially shy when I meet new people, but I warm up. I can be a bit clingy once I get to know. I'm full of energy and enjoy playing and running outside. You will need to be careful when opening doors as I may try to sneak out and go exploring. I walk well on leash and know the command sit. It's unknown how I would do with another dog or cats. He is among a small litter of which he's been the golden boy. He's resourceful and calm. I'm at capacity with 3 dogs and I don't have the time or attention that he deserves otherwise I would keep him too. Actually I'm trying to re-home one of his brothers as well. I don't want more than 3 dogs that is too much for me to manage. Their parents are spayed & neutered so no more surprise litters. They are absolutely wonderful but I don't think I can manage 5 dogs. He would make a great companion to the right owner especially one that enjoys hiking or being outdoorsy. He will become a medium to large dog. He's had some crate training, he's pretty obedient and we're working on the house training.
