Sadly, Molly's human was abusive to her and no longer wanted her, she's now searching for a new loving home that will be patient and understanding of her. She can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up she is ready to be your loyal buddy for life. Molly is spayed and up to date on vaccines.

Story
Meet Dumpling, a SUPER cute female Shar Pei mix puppy! Dumpling and her sisters Wonton and Wasabi are full of love and wrinkles (Dumpling is the most wrinkly of the girls)! We do not know what they are mixed with, but based on their age and current size, we expect them to grow to medium sized dogs.  Dumpling is a typical happy, friendly puppy who loves everyone! Good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids. Young puppies are like blank slates who, with proper training and socialization, will grow into wonderful dogs. She is medically up to date (age appropriate) and she can't wait to find her furever family! **PLEASE NOTE: Dumpling will be available at our adoption event on 6/22 at Petco in Dayville, CT. We are accepting applications on her now! We work hard to match each dog to the best applicant for them, so we will start processing applications closer to the event.** Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2410076##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. From Tragedy to Hope — Meet Chula Currently in Texas | Transport Available Born: Senior | &#226&#154&#150&#239&#184&#143 Weight: 61.2 lbs Special Needs: Daily thyroid meds Adoption Fee: $200 (or $300 if adopted with her best friend, Chance) Apply: www.adoggie4you.org One minute, Chula was living the dream—riding in her dad’s truck, snoozing beside his recliner, and sharing the bed with her brother. Then, everything changed. Her dad passed away unexpectedly, and for three long days, Chula stood guard beside him, confused and heartbroken. Strangers broke in, and in her fear, Chula did what any loyal dog would—tried to protect the only home she'd ever known. What followed was terrifying: a catchpole, a loud kennel, and separation from her brother, Booger. Chula's world fell apart. But her journey didn’t end there. When our team finally brought Chula and Booger to the rescue, they were deeply traumatized. For months, Chula only trusted one person—Pat—who she knew from her previous life. Slowly, she began to open up, and her healing truly began when she was introduced to Chance, another long-time resident who had also faced a tough life. Together, they brought each other back to life. Now, Chula runs and plays, walks on leash, and enjoys meeting new people—on her own terms. Her friendship with Chance has given her a second chance. Why Chula Will Steal Your Heart: Beautiful Shar Pei/Lab mix with soulful eyes House-trained and tidy—never soils her kennel Loves toys, playtime, and curling up to watch TV Gets along with other respectful dogs, especially larger ones Would thrive in a calm home with a fenced yard Needs an experienced, patient adopter who will let her bloom Takes thyroid pills twice daily (easy to manage) Chula is looking for a quiet, loving home—ideally with Chance, but she would also thrive with another friendly companion dog. She's not suited for homes with small children, cats, or tiny dogs due to her past and her cautious nature. &#226&#156&#168 Chula has spent enough time waiting. Now she’s ready to be someone’s loyal companion again—could it be you? Transport Available to WA, OR, Midwest, and East Coast (excluding RI & MA) Transport Fee: $225 (if applicable) &#226&#158&#161&#239&#184&#143 Apply now at www.adoggie4you.org and let Chula know what it feels like to be truly home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 25, 2025, 4:07 pm
