Squinty eyes, ears forward and neutral body. Leash Skills: Had to step in with one foot and treat lure to leash as he did not get up from laying on the bed. Slowly walked out, and walked nicely next to me. We walked through the building and he was cautious passing people and would slow down a little. Sociability: Came over and allowed gentle pets and gave low swaying tail wags with ears to the side and soft eyes. Play: n/a Dog Interaction: Met Skittle. Did some nice parallel walking sniffed and went off doing their own thing. Return to Kennel: Walked right into kennel without issue. Color Level: Exp Gold Per staff 1/14: “Staff was attempting to take out to clean kennel. Finny retreated to the corner of the kennel sitting on the bed with tense eyes, ears forward and gave a paw lift. Staff tried to lasso but Finny was dodging. Did a shake off when the leash touched him. I tossed a treat in and he ate it. Handed the staff member some pepperoni and he was able to treat lure to leash.” Per staff 1/13: “Went out to take a picture and attempt to scan the dog. While in the car, he growled, had a stiff body, stared intensely, and bared his teeth at staff. We asked the finder to leash the dog inside the car because we observed how quickly the dog's behavior changed with the finder, he immediately started wagging his tail very fast, had a loose body, and soft eyes. The finder leashed the dog, and he exited the car without issue. The staff member was then able to walk the dog straight to a kennel” Per finder: “Temperamental with strangers. Friendly, shy, scared and playful.” Videos: Finney & Skittle meet: https://youtube.com/shorts/pkpG8TE_hxI?si=50s9nac8YB-GPMC3 ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia. Story
This is Dani: This spunky girl has so much character! If you look at her videos when she’s trying to play she does this thing where she shakes her head. She sometimes looks like she’s telling me what’s up cause how she does her head nods. She jumps up with excitement like a very tiny bull. She runs around with confidence and loves to explore. The dogs barking at her don’t seem to bother her. She may even be patriotic lol!! 😂 She seemed to take a lot of interest in the flag and our soldier statue. :) Dani is the epitome of "blondes have more fun!!" So if you and your family are looking for a firecracker who loves her country and her friends, adopt her!!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Who's better than the rest-y? That's right, it's me, Betsy! I am a cool Chinese Shar-Pei mixed female with a Tuxedo colored coat and white socks! My facial features even have a cool black and white coloring to them too! I was rescued from a bad hoarding situation alongside my siblings, thing's weren't looking good for us. But our big-hearted rescuers saved us and got us on the road to better care and living great lives! Betsy likes to chew on big bones, occasionally wiggle her ears around, and bark at squirrels. Now we're on our way to finding our forever homes. Learning how to socialize with other dogs, take walks, and play fetch with a ball. Stay tuned for more updates on my journey! This is Betsy signing off! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Story
Miss Bea’s journey really started when she was rescued along with 30 other dogs on the property due to an extreme hoarding situation. She was one of two mamas that just had her babies and she was so glad to be reunited with them at the rescue! She raised 8 of those babies and her sister raised the other 9 pups! They survived a horrible situation and both Miss Bea and her sister, Betsy (also available for adoption), were just wonderful mamas. Now it is THEIR TURN to find homes!!! Miss Bea's foster moms adore her and here is what they have to say, " We knew the task to foster Miss Bea was going to be a slow process. We had been briefed about her being feral and was familiar after fostering her son, sweet Hondo, what it would take. With some love, patience, and a bit of know how , she has turned into my little “happy to see me” shadow (see her videos!!). She has a big bark for a little girl but it is only when appropriate. Loves yummy treats and affection from the people she knows and trust so much so she will paw at you to keep going. She isn’t the biggest fan of going for walks because outside can be scary sometimes but does have some leash confidence. She has no issues with being in the presence of kids. She is great with our other dog and is potty and kennel trained. We couldn’t pick her up for months but now she just plops on me like we have known each other our whole lives. Miss Bea needs a special home that will give her the time and gentleness to allow her to open up." Bea has been given a NEW LIFE and she is ready to SHARE THAT LIFE and HOPE WITH YOU!!! PLEASE ADOPT!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Have you ever heard on the TV, well a hoarder's house has been raided and ... animals have been seized and sent to the pound or rescue organizations in the area.... WELL, we are FROM just that kind of situation :( The good thing is we were SAVED... the bad thing is that we had to ENDURE the neglect and disgusting home. The BEST thing is we were ALL SAVED by a rescue group who REFUSED to leave even ONE behind...... 30 dogs/pups ALL AT ONCE has been taxing and motivating for the rescuers. If you watch our video, the situation was very very challenging but our rescuers worked their butts off to save us. We are almost all ready for adoption, all the pups are social and ready for their furever homes! The young adults and adults are a little more shy but have been working really hard with our rescuers to be ready for YOU!! We are a unique "breed" mix, lol. Aunts/Uncles/Parents/SIblings... all "living" together. We have Shar Pei, Scruffy dogs, Pit Bull, and maybe Spaniel mixed in there :D We are all pretty much medium sized, 20-50# and cute as HECK!! If you have ever wanted to adopt a rescued dog that NEEDS the best home, WE ARE WAITING RIGHT HERE!!! Please watch our video, empathize with us AND our rescue family and ADOPT!!!! SO SO SO MANY LIVES DEPEND ON IT!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)

Please contact Marilyn at 856-275-6905 for more information about this pet.  This dog is located in Newark, DE. Visit us on the web at https://fur-everpaws.com/fur-ever-paws-adoption-application/ to submit an application. Please contact the foster directly at 856-275-6905 (call or text) or via email at Fureverpawsdogrescue@gmail.com&#226&#128&#139 Fur Ever Paws Dog Rescue is a small no kill rescue operating in the Delaware/Maryland area. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit that rescues and places homeless, neglected or abused dogs from high-kill shelters in the south into loving, responsible committed and permanent homes. We feel our comprehensive adoption process which includes not only taking the time to match the dog to the prospective new owner but helping to educate that owner in responsible dog care, allows us to find the best homes for our little buddies and the best companions for you! Each week we use USDA certified transports to bring dogs from high-kill shelters in the south to our fosters where they all receive the appropriate medical care and are placed in nurturing loving homes while they await placement in their forever homes. Interested in one of our dogs? Great! Now that you've seen them here, you'll need to go to our website where you'll find our list of adoptable dogs (updated every week). Then, it's just a simple process of finding a dog you're interested in and filling out an application on our site. Once we receive your application, whoever is fostering that particular dog will contact you and do a short over the phone interview to complete your application process. If everything works out, they will set an appointment with you so come out and "visit" with the dog you're interested in (we want to make sure that not only are you a good fit for the dog but that the dog will fit with you). If everything works out, you'll be able to take rover (or spot, or jax) home with you that very day. A couple of things you should know: We can't hold dogs over the phone or via email. Adoption fees vary based on breed. All of our dogs have been vet checked and dewormed (if possible due to age, additional treatment may be needed). We provide a spay or neuter voucher to all of our adopters. &#226&#128&#139 January 15, 2026, 2:16 pm
