Jill came to ACCT Philly after she and another dog, Jack, were found running loose in the street. Thankfully, a caring community member was able to get both dogs to safety, and both dogs soon made their way into the care of ACCT Philly. Jill is now available for adoption at Doggie Style Pets in Bala Cynwyd and ready to meet her forever family! Jill is a social butterfly with a heart of gold. She's got the face and wrinkles of a shar pei and is on the smaller end at around 30lbs. She's highly people-oriented and shows her love freely with tail wags, gentle nudges, and an easygoing attitude. Jill walks well on leash, is tolerant of all body handling, and greets the world with soft eyes and a calm presence. In her interactions with other dogs, she’s shown polite curiosity—sniffing and then choosing to move on if she’s unsure. She’s a well-rounded, friendly pup who's easy to handle and eager to connect. Tank is a nearly 7-month-old pup (born May 29, 2025) who already weighs 53 lbs—and he’s just getting started. We believe he’s a Shar Pei / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, and he’s expected to grow into a big, handsome guy around 80–90 lbs. For his size, Tank is actually pretty calm, but don’t be fooled—he’s still very much a puppy. Tank was surrendered by his owners by no fault of his own. He’s super sweet, affectionate, and social, but he’s also strong and a little mouthy, which means he’ll need a home committed to ongoing training, structure, and consistency. With his future size, good manners will be essential. Tank does well with other dogs, can be cat tested, and would be best with older children, as he may be a bit too much for the littlest family members. Lily is a loving boxer/lab mix who just wants to be in a loving home and would be a great Christmas or holiday gift! Lily was rescued from an abusive situation, but is an amazing pup who just turned 1 in October. Unfortunately, I can no longer foster this super sweet, beautiful pup who just wants someone to love her. She is relatively low maintenance, but due to her prior abuse, she would do best in a stable environment where someone is typically home with her a majority of the time. She warms up most quickly with women and children, but will warm up to anyone who is kind to her. She started learning how to play with toys and is filled with so much love and has even started to become playful. She deserves a fur-ever home that can provide safety and stability for her so she can continue to thrive. Depending on when adoption may take place, I can do my best to supply as much food as possible and possibly transport. I just truly want her to find her home and family!
