{ Shar Pei and Beagle mix } ENOLA is an observant gal with a lot of daytime energy. She enjoys doing zoomies, talking up a storm while wrestling, is naturally athletic, and makes goofy faces when trying to catch a treat. She is a good physical mix of the Shar Pei and Beagle genes, with behavior favoring either side at times. Examples are partial stranger danger response to new people, or surprised/alert response to dogs coming from nowhere. Noli has already been spayed and microchipped (with lifetime registration). She is heartworm negative, kept up to date on vaccines, and is anxious for her own family. Enola hasn’t been adopted yet simply because no one has applied for her. She turns 3-yrs old mid March 2026.

Hiya! My name is Bella. I am around a year old and 45 pounds. I am a little scared to find myself at the shelter, so I am a bit timid. Please just go slow with me and give me time to warm up. I`m a nice gal who seeks out affection. Once I`m comfortable, I will even play with toys! I arrived at the shelter as a stray, so unfortunately not much is known about me, like if I get along with animals or how I do with children. That`s okay though, because we can learn these things together and so much more! The shelter does offer a Cuddle Before You Commit program to ensure I am the right fit for you! Please remember, slow and proper introductions are always best to set me up for success.**Please apply on our website at www.indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. Go to the website, click on the adoption application link, enter the information and hit submit. Once you have submitted your application please visit the shelter to speak with a member of our adoption staff. Ellie, Mozzorellie, or NFL linebacker are just a few of her names came to us after quite the heist of sneaking out of another shelter and going on an adventure for months. Ellie arrived unsure, overstimulated, planning the next big escape, and not sold that people are actually nice. Over the past year at SOAR, she’s shown incredible progress in all ways. Ellie has never one time had an accident in her room, appears dog friendly, loves all people big and small, but we’re unsure on cats. Ellie is all about speed and playing chicken, she’ll run full steam ahead and ditch at the last second leaving you with soiled undies and a muscle cramp from bracing for impact. You WON’T find better forehead wrinkles, not even at a nursing home. The perfect home for Ellie would be active, older or no children, only dog or bigger dog friends, and if adopting to a house will minimally need a 6ft fully-fenced back yard.

They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration).
