Story
Scooby likely spent his early life in this environment, and because of that, his future family will need to understand that he may need some extra patience and guidance—especially when it comes to his eating habits. The good news is that Scooby is now reported to be potty trained! 🎉This boy still treats every meal like it might be his last, enthusiastically scarfing down every piece of kibble he receives. While we have not seen food aggression, his past could make food-related behaviors something to be mindful of. Feeding him separately, such as in a crate, and/or using a slow feeder is encouraged.Scooby has also been adopted and returned twice since October 2025, both times due to housing issues—not because he wasn't loved or because he was a bad dog. He deserves a home that can finally be his forever home. 🏡Scooby definitely has some energy to burn! He needs a chance to get his zoomies out every day, but once he's had his fun, he settles down and becomes a good boy with manners. He already knows sit, back up, lay down, and paw! 🐾He is also an incredibly cuddly guy who would happily get as close to you as physically possible. Personal space? Scooby doesn't believe in it. If he could crawl directly into your skin to be closer, he probably would. 😂❤️When it comes to other dogs, Scooby can sometimes be a little rude or dominant, so he may do best with a dog that can match his energy while having a more submissive personality. He is also reported to be fine around cats! 🐱🐶Scooby hasn't had the easiest start in life, and he has already lost two homes through circumstances outside of his control. What he needs now is someone willing to give him structure, daily exercise, full meals, plenty of cuddles, and most importantly...A home that will finally be forever. 🐶❤️🐾 ADOPTION INFORMATION 🐾Thinking about adding a new furry family member? Story
Jax is a sweet boy. He has the cutest face and makes cute little sounds. He is coming out of his shell and would love to be in a family where he can play and get all the love and pets he desires. He likes to play with toys and I'm sure in time, he'd be a great "fetch" partner. He has done fine around cats, but if they (like mine) repeatedly bat at him or try to rub all over him he gets curious. I think he would fit into any life style!

Story
🐾 MEET VETERAN! 🐾Veteran is a 2-year-old, 53-pound male Pit Mix who is looking for someone to give him a new name, a new story, and hopefully a place to call home. ❤️He came to us as a supposed stray after reportedly being found at our local Veteran's Park, already decked out in a harness and leash. While we can't know for sure what happened before he arrived, we suspect there may be more to his story. Unfortunately, that means we don't know his real name, his background, or much about the life he lived before coming to us.What we do know is that Veteran is ready to start fresh! 🐾We have done a dog introduction with him, and he seems to have some opinions about his canine company. Veteran wants to be the dominant male when introduced to other males, so he may not be the best match for another dominant male dog. However, he did well with a female dog, especially one with a more submissive personality. He also seems to be fine with cats! 🐱Veteran is scheduled to be neutered on 8/27 and will officially be available for adoption at 10:00 AM on 8/28.This handsome guy may have arrived without a name or a story, but that doesn't mean his story has to end here. Maybe his next chapter starts with you. ❤️📅 Neuter scheduled: 8/27🏡 Available for adoption: 8/28 at 10:00 AMCome meet Veteran and help give this deserving boy the fresh start—and maybe even the real name—he deserves. 🐶❤️🐾 ADOPTION INFORMATION 🐾Thinking about adding a new furry family member?
