I'm a true rescue, a diamond in the rough, With my pointy bunny ears, I'm not a bluff. I love all humans, with a heart so true, And with other dogs, I'll play and pursue. My diet's special, a culinary delight, But don't worry, I won't start a food fight. I'm a bit of a project, but that's just fine, With your love and care, I'll truly shine! We are a matched based adoption agency, if you see a dog in our program in which you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online application at kcpaws.org and one of our adoptions counselors will be in touch once your application has been screened. Please note that we do require dogs to meet all members of the family including existing pets in the home before finalizing during your in home adoption. Santana is about 1 years old, spayed, up to date on all vetting, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250. Santana is a all around great dog, she is fantastic with every dog she meets and does well in daycare and at dog parks.  Santana is cat friendly and doesn't really bother them or try to mess with them once she is introduced She can be shy when first meeting new people but once she warms up with a few treats and a belly rub she will be cuddled right in your lap! She is a great size, about 35lbs so she isn't too big but isn't tiny either. She does great at all of our adoption events and is super gentle with littler kids! She will make a great addition to any family. She has been in the shelter a while as she is often overlooked, so she will need help working on potty trainingOctober 10, 2024, 7:40 am

Louis is an adorable teddy-bear shar-pei mix. He coexists well with other dogs, but has been shy since coming to the big, busy shelter, so he is not yet ready to play. He would love to meet any potential doggy siblings, to see if it is a good match. Louis doesn't enjoy the company of human children, so no kids please! Louis is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. Hi everyone, my name is Roscoe. I am the sweetest dog you will ever meet. I love my current owner so much but I know she cannot give me what I need. I would love to have a backyard to run around and just more space. Right now I live in an apartment and I am alone a lot. My owner works many hours and is not home with me too much. I do okay by myself but love being around people. I am very affectionate and love to cuddle. I am not good with dogs but maybe after some training, I would be better. My current owner just has not been able to afford it. I love chewing on bones and playing with my toys. I was adopted in 2020 at only 7 months old and I am now 5 years old. I do not chew on things or go potty in the house. I would love for someone to take a chance on me so I can live a happier life. Every dog deserves the best and I should be no different. I love so much and only want that love in return. I just need owners who will have the time to be with me.
