Molly is a loyal, moderate energy, 8 yr old senior Shar-Pei, 47 lbs, with a big heart and is ready to settle into a quiet home. She's happiest by your side and loves to be the center of attention. She likes car rides and plenty of walks- although a fenced yard would be ideal. She needs to be the only pet. Experience with the shar-pei breed is highly recommended. She is located in a foster home in northeastern VT. Molly is housetrained, UTD on vaccines and is scheduled to be spayed on 11/20. Misa (approximately 46 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. Our precious girl is a TRIPAWD - her right hind leg was amputated shortly after her rescue. It is believed that she was hit by a car prior to being rescued, and the leg was so badly damaged that amputation was the only option. Misa absolutely does not care that she only has three legs, and she likes to tell us that dogs were born with three legs and a spare, so she didn't need that fourth leg! This girl us an absolute wonder - she adores people, and her hind end wags so hard when she see you, it is amazing that she doesn't lose her balance and fall over. But Misa has excellent core strength and she is capable of all kinds of amazing feats! Misa was fostered with other dogs and did well with them; she is also house trained. Her foster parents report that she is an absolute cuddle bug who wants ALL the snuggles. And she loves to sleep in bed with her people, so she's hoping for a fur-ever home that will allow her that joy.
