Story
Maggie is a 10-year-old spayed female Chinese Shar Pei mix, about 50 lbs, living with her owner in Medford, MA. She is a calm, low-energy “professional couch potato” who gets along well with dogs but has a high prey drive and is not cat-tested. Maggie is wary of strangers, especially men with beards, and can be defensive in the home, so she needs a mature, quiet household with few visitors and respected boundaries. She is fully housetrained, can stay alone for a standard workday, but has separation anxiety and is not crate trained. Maggie is older, arthritic, and takes daily medication plus an estrogen pill to prevent bedwetting. She knows several commands and enjoys slow walks, sniffing, and relaxing on the stoop. Wary of homes with children.

Pudge is looking for a loving home where she can perfect her puppy manners and become an irreplaceable family member.Pudge is good with new adults and kids—she likes to be the one to approach, and once she’s had a chance to sniff her wiggly personality comes through. She’s interested in playing with cats, so she’d do well with dog-savvy kitties who are comfortable setting boundaries. Pudge is optimistic that every dog wants to be her friend, but if they don’t want to play she’ll leave them alone. She offers polite greetings at first, and once the ice is broken she loves to wrestle and rough house with other pups.Pudge is amazing in her crate! She settles in immediately and doesn’t have any accidents while she’s in there, even overnight. Pudge has been working hard on her house training and with patience, consistency, and time, she’ll continue to perfect it. This sweet girl is excited to keep working on her leash skills in her new home and looks forward to taking lots of walks and building her fan club.Pudge is a squishy, wonderful puppy who can’t wait to be part of a family. Story
Echo is a special pup. She is a little over two years old, loving, independent and very food and toy driven. When Echo is comfortable with someone; she loves hugs, karaoke (she can sing and howl all day long), and long runs. I got Echo from a family member who needed a home for her asap due to being rejected by her parents; she came home with me at six weeks old. She is reactive and not well leash trained. She is house trained and obedience trained, responds to some hand signals and was trained mostly in German and English. Echo needs a consistent and patient household with someone experienced in reactivity that will love her in the long term and give her a strong forever home.
