You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Lizzie, a super sweet special needs pup Lizzie was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Lizzie was shot and the end result is her being partially paralyzed   While heartbreaking for any dog, Lizzie is young. She is only 1 1/2 years old. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143‍Despite her injury, Lizzie remains sweet and vibrant. She has a lot of love to give and loves to explore. Her favorite pastimes are giving kisses and exploring the great outdoors. Don’t let her paralysis fool you; this girl can seriously get around. We are looking for a very special foster or adopter for Lizzie. Unfortunately, the bullet that caused Lizzie’s rear legs to be partially paralyzed also made her both urine and bowel incontinent. The most challenging part of caring for Lizzie is her incontinence. Although she doesn’t need her bladder or bowels expressed, she does require significant care to take care of these needs. Lizzie is comfortable in diapers, but wearing diapers 24/7 creates its own unique problems. Even when they are changed frequently, she develops urine scald and irritation that requires special care.  If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Lizzie, please submit an application.We are happy to train you on all of Lizzie’s individual care needs. We take great care when adopting out any of our  dogs, but we’re even more cautious with special needs dogs, as they can easily fall victim to abuse or neglect. When adopting a dog that requires extra care, we have a stricter process and need to ensure you can commit to take on the responsibility.  Lizzie is dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and kid-friendly. She is up to date on all her vetting, spayed and microchipped. Sugar is an 8 year old pit-terrier with a gentle spirit and calm demeanor. She prefers a household without other pets, allowing her to be the sole focus of love and attention. Sugar was an adored companion for my father, a Vietnam veteran, after the loss of my mom. When he passed, my sister took on the responsibility of caring for Sugar, but as a single mom to a lively 3-year-old, it’s become increasingly challenging to manage. Unfortunately, I cannot take her on due to my demanding travel schedule, and as much as it breaks our hearts, we are looking for a new, loving home for her. Sugar is crate- and house-trained and knows basic commands. She loves to cuddle and play. She can be quiet or a ball of energy - you set the mode! She is loyal and deserving of love. If you’re looking for a devoted friend, Sugar would be the perfect addition to the right home. She comes with many of her comforts of home - crate, bowls, beds, toys, bags, leashes, collars, etc. Just needs you!

Hi, I’m Hugh! I’m a 4-year-old pittie/boxer mix with a big heart and an even bigger smile. Everyone who meets me says I’m the sweetest boy. I’ve never met a stranger, and I especially love kids! Life wasn’t always easy for me, but I’m making up for lost time with all the love and energy I have to share. I’m neutered, crate trained, and fully up to date on my vaccines. I am heartworm positive, but some of the cost of treatment will be covered to help my future family get me healthy. Here’s what you should know about me: • Super people-friendly (love, love, love attention) • Kid-approved • High energy — I’m always ready for fun • Crate trained • Playful with dogs (I come in a little hot, but I just want to make friends) • No cats, please! I’m looking for a family who can give me the exercise, structure, and love I’ve been waiting for. If you’re ready for a loyal companion with lots of love to give, I’d love to meet you!
