Story
Hayat - The Resilient Shar Pei Cross: Hayat, a resilient female Shar Pei cross, came into this world under challenging circumstances. Found on the side of the highway as a tiny baby among many others, she faced a tough start to life. Fortunately, fate smiled upon her when a caring individual noticed her, rescuing her from the bustling roadside. Initially believed to have a swollen face from a bee sting, her journey took an unexpected turn when a visit to the clinic revealed the normality of her condition. Hayat's fortune changed, and she found herself on a path to recovery and love. Despite her early struggles, Hayat is now a loving and gentle soul, demonstrating remarkable strength and resilience. However, Hayat's early experiences have left her a bit apprehensive towards external factors, making socialization a gradual process. She needs time to trust and acclimate to new surroundings and people. Despite this, once she familiarizes herself with a routine and the people around her, she becomes no different from other dogs. Hayat has a heart full of love and playfulness, especially evident when she engages with her feline companion, Pinar. Pinar - The Handsome Tabby Cat: Meet Pinar, a handsome male tabby cat with a tale as intriguing as his striking appearance. Discovered in a feeding area in the forest meant for dogs, Pinar's unique journey intertwined with that of Hayat. From the forest to a shared cage, and eventually to a loving home, Pinar's story is a testament to the resilience of animals. Despite his initial challenges, Pinar exudes charm and confidence. He has seamlessly adapted to domestic life, proving that love and care can transform even the most uncertain beginnings. Pinar, with his striking tabby coat and charismatic demeanor, has become an inseparable companion to Hayat. Together - A Bond Beyond Adversity: Hayat and Pinar, survivors of their tumultuous early days, found solace and companionship in each other. Their story took a turn when they were adopted into a home that, unfortunately, could not provide a permanent space for them. Now, under the care of the shelter's president in Turkey, they continue to share a home, a testament to their enduring friendship. Hayat, despite her initial shyness, blossoms in a familiar routine, especially when surrounded by the warmth of her feline friend. Pinar, with his tabby charm, adds a touch of elegance to their companionship. The duo, now 1.5 years old, is in search of a loving and lifelong home that will embrace them together, ensuring their inseparable bond endures beyond the trials of their early days. Patience and understanding are key to helping Hayat gradually open her heart to new experiences and people. Hayat and Pinar can fly to Toronto or Vancouver when they find their forever home! Story
Greetings, I'm Mint, an 8-month-old girl with a mix. My journey began when I was just a 2-week-old baby, arriving at the city shelter along with my seven siblings and loving Mom. I bring a delightful and sociable spirit with me. One of my brothers found a loving home in Seattle through fostering, and it was love at first sight for his foster family. We're a charming bunch! Yet, the rest of my siblings, including myself, are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. All of us are a delightful blend of friendly, funny, and undeniably cute. Strength? That's a matter of perspective. I consider myself innocent and gentle, always eager for playful adventures. Food is a joy, but I'm no guard—sharing with friends is more my style. My energy level is moderate, and I enjoy playtime with pals while maintaining a calm demeanour indoors. Petting me is a breeze, and my wobbly tail is a testament to my happiness. I'm the epitome of cheerfulness—always ready with a wagging tail, especially when making eye contact. If you're in search of a bright and cheerful companion, look no further—meet me and let's create a beautiful bond! Story
Hello, I'm Bay, an adorable 8-month-old SharPei mix boy eagerly awaiting my forever home. My journey began at the city shelter when I was just a 2-week-old baby, accompanied by my loving Mom and seven siblings. While one of my seven siblings found a happy home through fostering, I and my other siblings are still at the city shelter, facing the risk of euthanasia. Each one of us embodies a friendly, funny, and endearing spirit. Picture this: lovely chocolate fur, long legs adorned with white socks, and eyes that exude innocence, much like a baby angel. I'm a social butterfly, adoring people so much that I'll gladly sit on a stranger's lap upon our first meeting. Playing with friends is a delight for me, and if I discover a cherished toy, I'll quietly retreat to a corner to enjoy it. My nature is gentle and kind; even if friends approach me while I'm with my toys, I'll simply relocate without any fuss or growls. If you're seeking a puppy friend to always bring a smile to your face and shower you with love, then I'm the perfect companion. Consider adopting me, and I promise to become a cherished and lovable member of your family. Let's create a beautiful bond and fill your home with joy and love together. Each one of us embodies a friendly, funny, and endearing spirit. I'm a social butterfly, adoring people so much. I allow strangers to touch or hug me. I'm a very nice, innocent soul. And I'm an extreme toy lover. If I have a toy I like, I go to the corner alone and play with it quietly without my friends knowing. I grew up in a shelter as a baby, so I have less experience. I still need to learn how to eat snacks. When I go for a walk, my tail goes down in unfamiliar places. I wish I had a family who could teach me the taste of delicious snacks and the joy of walking. I will be your lovely and good family member. I'm in a shelter in Korea and ready to fly anywhere in Seattle or Vancouver if you call my name. Hey there, I'm Diesel!💖✨ I may be an adult, but don't let that fool you, I'm full of playful energy and curiosity. I was once a superhero in my own comic tale, saving a family from a house fire! I sniffed out the danger and barked until help arrived. I ended up in the shelter after that, a bit shy but still a hero. I'm smart and goofy, often making the shelter staff laugh with my antics. I'm looking for a family that can match my energy and humor, someone patient who can help me come out of my shell. Adopting me means gaining a loyal, loving, and fun companion. I promise to bring joy and laughter into your life. Let's start our own adventure, shall we?If you are interested in me, please email orangeville@ontariospca.ca and include your phone number so we can better contact you.I can't wait to come home to you! 💖- Diesel 💖✨ Primary Color: Tan Weight: 27.7 Age: 2yrs 0mths 0wks
