Story
Bea2.5 years, spayed female, 44 lbEnglish bulldog LIKES: Bea likes everybody and everything but especially likes physical attention from her humans. Pets and snuggles are her favorite. DISLIKES: Sometimes she is a little timid meeting new men. She does not like being squirted with the hose or the water bottle but oddly likes to swim. Sometimes she doesn't like sharing and will use her size to get what she wants. PERSONALITY TRAITS: Very friendly, bouncy, sweet, loving, playful, Goofy and puppy like. POTTY TRAINING: Fully potty trained and communicates well. CRATE TRAINING: Fully crate trained and enjoys down time in her special place in the crate. Also goes to the crate for meal time. OTHER/MISC: She loves her backyard pool and may enjoy a little swim in the river/lake. Bea is a low to medium energy dog with very low maintenance. Bea loves to chase cats and could potentially injur a cat. She also can be possessive of some toys/treats, and for this reason we do not recommend her going to a home with small children. To further inquire about BEA, submit an application. Tell us about yourself, family, other pets, and how BEA will mesh with your lifestyle. Qualifying applicants will be contacted by our Adoption Coordinator with next steps and an opportunity to set up a Meet & Greet. Our process is NOT a “first come, first served” process. (We DO NOT hold pets for later consideration.) Our team carefully reviews and interviews applicants for the best possible fit for each adoptable pet, and potential family. Submitting an application does not guarantee a call or response from our rescue. Our volunteers will screen the applications and reach out if it is determined to be a good fit. We look forward to facilitating a positive and solid adoption for BEA, as well as her future family. *Fostered in Eugene/Springfield, OR ADOPTION APP: https://www.wigglytails.org/adoption-application ‍ ##2732124##

Story
Meet Garth! Garth is a resilient English Bulldog with a heart as big as his jowls. Garth was found in rough shape, suffering from a severe case of demodex mange, painfully infected ears and paws, and clear signs of long-term, untreated skin disease. Despite everything he’s been through, Garth has shown incredible strength and sweetness. Under the care of our dedicated veterinary team, his comfort has improved, his skin is healing, and his true personality is beginning to shine through. This boy is feeling SO much better.  Garth’s journey isn’t a short one. He will need continued veterinary care, including regular checkups, medications, and a committed routine to keep him comfortable and healthy. He will likely require lifelong managment of his skin. Because of this, Garth is looking for a special adopter, someone patient, compassionate, and prepared to partner with their vet to give him the quality of life he deserves. We will continue to care for him and are commited to his path of wellness but feel he would thrive even more with the right human and home. Garth is a super sweet boy who adores all his people and loves meeting new ones. He has done great meeting other dogs, going on walks and seems to prefer the ladies but can be a typical bossy bulldog when it comes to sharing a space. He could live with a female dog with an owner who could provide separation in the beginning using gates while he adjusted and bonded with a new friend. Garth would also be just fine as the king of his castle. Garth enjoys easy strolls where he can get his sniffs in, plays with toys and of course gets lots of naps in. Because he can sometimes be a typical pushy bulldog we don't feel he would pair well with young kids in a home, teens are just fine! Cats are unknown. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled on Instagram (@nwdogproject) for updates! If you would like to be considered as Garth's forever home, be sure to submit an adoption application on our website! Adoption fee includes; spay/neuter, microchip, microchip registration, dewormer, fecal testing, flea/tick prevention and age-appropriate vaccines. Garth would do great in a home with...Cats : Dogs : female dogs  Kiddos : 13+    ##2637066##
