I am your smart and loyal `tom boy` pup. Playing fetch is one of my favorite things to do. I am a quick learner, and love to explore new things, including toys. Of course I know how to sit for treats, and who does not like to cuddle. What I don`t like is being in my kennel. The strange noise you might hear walking by my kennel has nothing to do with ME...HARMONY. So ignore the screech...take me out of my kennel and let me show you my loving personality. This beautiful girl came to us with 14 other dogs after her owner was hospitalized, and she’s been a shining example of resilience and sweetness ever since. Nymph loves life’s simple pleasures — sunny walks, gentle playtime with dog friends, and quiet snuggles on the couch. She has a soft, easygoing temperament that makes her a joy to be around. She’s also house trained, crate trained, great with kids, and even took home second place in a local 5K (grace and stamina all in one gorgeous pup! 🏅). While Nymph prefers a cat-free home, she gets along beautifully with other dogs and would thrive in a calm, loving environment. Whether you’re looking for a companion for your family or a loyal friend to share your days with, Nymph is ready to fill your home with love and serenity.

My story Here's what the humans have to say about me: Meet Jewel! Jewel was in a small rural shelter in La Joya, Texas on the border of Mexico. She was picked up as a stray with her 5 cute little happy puppies. We think she is a boxer/terrier mix, 50lbs and around 3 years old. She has beautiful eyes that look through your soul. And her underbite smile is everything! Jewel is a jewel! A true gem. She is super friendly, happy, loving and wonderful! She has never met a stranger and gets along great with other dogs. She has a playful side, but she isn't overboard, and loves loves loves being with people. Our van was totally full on our last trip to the border, but we just could not leave her and her puppies behind, after her heart felt yodel in the kennel. Must watch her video. She is a great dog, with a wonderful happy future full of love and fun to give to the right family.
