Having to rehome our un-neutered, male 5-year old lab/pit/shar pei mix, Odin. Odin is an incredibly sweet, handsome, smart, loving, bright, loyal dog who is protective of his people and whose only real weakness or shortcoming is that he is NOT good with other dogs (hence, our reason for rehoming)! Perhaps it’s the pit or Shar Pei in Odin that lend to his aggressive behavior around other dogs. I suspect neutering Odin would help scale back his aggressive tendencies tremendously; regrettably, we don’t have the luxury of time on our side to find out. Odin is way too smart for his own good; he makes for an excellent protector and even better best friend. The love he displays for his family is enduring and unconditional. His loyalty and protective instincts are likewise, unmatched. His intelligence level is off the charts; we joke that he understands English b/c he always knows what we’re saying. He is house trained and obedient to the commands of his owner. Fine with cats.
