Hi there, I'm Lorenzo! I'm a sweet and gentle pup who's feeling a bit overwhelmed in the noisy shelter environment. I'm really hoping to find a kind-hearted foster or adopter who can help me discover what love and comfort truly mean. Even though I'm a little nervous, I've been making great strides in the shelter, especially when it comes to making friends with other dogs at playgroup. I think having a furry sibling in my future home would be fantastic, and I'm sure we'd get along well together. I came to the shelter as a puppy, and now, at one year old, I've spent my entire formative time here. I was found and brought in by a kind Samaritan, and while I'm not eager to revisit my past, I'm ready to focus on my future. Bella is in need of restoration. She`s said to have lived among dogs and cats and primarily been indoors. She`s said to love ladies best and she does have some experience growing up with an older child. She is housetrained and would stay home alone in her own space as needed. She even knows some cues. In the shelter Bella has been shy but is getting used to the routines. She`s very quiet and loves taking treats before and after her walks. She`s a curious girl still taking in all the new sights here and we hope she`ll get a chance to leave soon so she can return to luster and feeling more relaxed. She`s advocated for by her friends and fans including ClassicCaninesATX who are helping mature dogs like Bella cope with shelter life and find pathways home.

Cookie came to us from Victoria Animal Control after being hit by a car. She was unable to stand and was in severe pain. Luckily, she found a foster home where she was able to heal and turn into her sweet self.  Cookie is a little skittish at first but is very sweet once she’s settled.  Because she’s sensitive and shy, we think she’d do best in a quiet home as the only dog. September 12, 2024, 11:22 pm
