Delilah is a 6.5-year-old purebred Shar Pei requiring a house with no other dogs.She is spayed, fully house-trained, kennel trained, and knows basic commands including sit, down, stay, and paw. She is very intelligent and, once she trusts you, incredibly loyal and sweet.Delilah must be the only dog in the home. She has a long history of dog-on-dog aggression with both male and female dogs, and her triggers are unpredictable. She does not show resource guarding behaviors, and she initiates fights without clear warning. Because of this, she cannot safely live with other dogs.She has previously been around a confident cat (he was not afraid to stand up to her, and didn’t tolerate any type of chasing) and did not show interest, but she has not been around cats in several years. She can be anxious in new environments and takes quite a bit of time to warm up to new people, due in part to limited socialization when I got her as a puppy during COVID. She is incredibly sweet and soulful
