Story
I love to go on walks, eat & take baths. I am a registered Emotional Service Animal. I’ll be 7 in August. I am part Beagle and when I see a cat or bird I go a little hound crazy. Woof. Woof. But I am very loving and a home body. I don’t like to lick, and give to many kisses. My way of kissing is coming up to you and putting my entire face side by side with yours. ❤️

Story
Hi, I'm Boulder, a robust and loving brown Pit bull. At 6 years young, I'm a big boy, weighing 97 pounds, but don't let my size fool you—I'm just a gentle giant. I'm neutered and all my shots are up to date, so I'm as healthy as can be. I'm a pro when it comes to house manners and walking on a leash, and I adore people of all ages. I'm the kind of guy who is content to be your shadow, lounging by your side, but I also love to stretch my legs with long walks and a good roll in the grass. My eyes will tell you stories, and my main goal is to make you happy. I enjoy family time, but I'm also independent enough to be fine on my own. Winter's been good to me—I've enjoyed it with a bit of bulking up and lazing about, thanks to my love for peanut butter sandwiches and other snacks. But I am working on slimming back down to my summer body. If you're looking for a loyal companion for walks, picnics, or just some cozy snuggles, look no further. I'm fostered in Sanford, NC, but I'm ready to find my forever home with you. I promise to be the teddy bear you've always wanted!

These pups are in Newport News, Virginia too!

Suey is living in a foster home while she waits for her forever home. If you are interested in meeting with her, please send an email to PRAS-FOSTER@NNVA.GOV.---------------------------------------------Check out Suey on video!https://www.facebook.com/reel/2492209601155620https://www.facebook.com/1345766254/videos/pcb.1208052607316762/1958616524676200https://www.facebook.com/1345766254/videos/pcb.1205309510924405/721658127018294---------------------------------------------Suey went on an ExPAWdition with Volunteer John! Let`s read all about it:`Suey and I enjoyed lots of fun time at the beach and touring Fort Monroe in Hampton for our expawdition this week. This young lady is a dream to hang out with. Suey jumped right into the backseat and was a perfect lady in the car, checking out the traffic and the goings-on during our travel. Once we arrived, Suey and I walked along the seawall to explore. She even stood up at the sea wall to check out the Bay and the ships sailing by. Then, Suey and I headed for what we came to enjoy...the Fort Monroe beach. No hesitations walking on the sand so she could get to the water...Suey laid at the water`s edge and made herself right at home. She enjoyed relaxing in the cool water to refresh from her walk. After our beach and snack time, we walked to the fort and moat to explore and then back along the sea wall. Suey is a great and accommodating walking partner. She didn`t pull on the leash and walked right alongside of me. After we left Fort Monroe, We stopped at Chik-Fil-A for nuggets and frozen custard...she wasted no time in finishing off her tasty treats...she ate like a lady. Suey is a super troop. She`s a bit shy at first, but opens up the more time she shares with her buddy. Stop by the Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter in Newport News to meet Suey `in person` and schedule your meet & greet. Suey is sponsored by the Friends of PRAS organization as a Pick-Me-Pet...ask your PRAS counselor for details. You`ll fall in love with her immediately. Suey is easy going and a great listener. She`s eager to be your best friend. Suey simply wants to be with a loving forever family, in her forever home. Please allow her an opportunity to strut `her stuff.`--------------------------------------Hello there, I`m Suey. I`m a bit of a shy soul, but don`t let that fool you. I`m brave and smart too. I`m just a little hesitant at first. But once I get to know you, I promise
